RTX 3090 for Mining (Hashrate, Overclocks & Profit for Ethereum, Ravencoin, Flux, Firo & Ergo) - Sebs FinTech I do a full review of the RTX 3090 for mining crypto. I test the GPU in terms of highest possible hashrate, best efficiency, profitability and overclock settings. I do all of these test for 6 different crypto coins: Ethereum, Ravencoin, Flux, Firo, Ergo & Ethereum Classic. The first test I do on each coin is to see what hashrate and efficiency (hashrate per watt) we get at completely stock settings. I the start power limiting the GPU in MSI Afterburner to see what the best efficiency we can get at stock clocks is. I then put the power limit of the graphics card back to 100% and start to overclock the GPU to see what the highest possible hashrate we can get on the RTX 3090 is. I then start limiting the power again to see what the best hashrate per watt we can get while overclocked is. For the final test, I switch over to using absolute core clock to see if we can get even better results in terms of efficiency or hashrate on the 3090 this way. Once I've done all those tests for all 6 coins, we have a look at the results in a spreadsheet to evaluate the performance of the 3090 for mining. Finally, we then plug all these numbers into WhatToMine to see the current mining profits for the RTX 3090

Hello, I'm doing etherium mining and I'm having a Nvidia rtx 3060 TI FE(non lhr) and an asus gtx1660 super tuf gaming.I am getting about 94-95 Mh/s and about 210Watts (my GPUs only). I'm thinking of buying rtx3090 and replace the ones I have. I'm watching your videos and I saw that your favourite ones are the Asus rtx 3090 strix (i think). which graphics card implementation do you suggest? Please suggest me something with higher hashrate lower power consumption and lower VRam temperature. I let you know that I want to have the card in my computer tower.

Couldn't do +1600 (3200 HiveOS) memory on my Asus strix 3090, T-Rex kept restarting after a few minutes, but I did get your hashrate for that few minutes. But was only using 318 watts with no power limit and core locked at 1300. So went back to -300 and a power limit of 320. But going from 1300/2600 to 1400/2800 raised my hashrate an even 3 mh to 126.6... Now at 27 minutes uptime, so well see. But thanks for pushing me to that extra 3 mh...

I like the efficiency of your videos.. testing, results and recap with spreadsheet it's nice and streamlined. If I were even considering getting another card it would most likely have to be the 3090. I still like the non LHR 3070 FTW cards but either too expensive or hard to find, maybe I'll save $$ until ETH goes full POS and see if there is any mass exodus of sell off before getting deeper into mining.

Hi
I am a beginner in crypto... Planning to buy my first rig... With ryzen 9 3900x ... And 2pc 3070ti .... Is it a ok choice or should I choose any other card..
Also pls suggest a mother board and how much walt power supply should i use..
I want to minne on both cpu and gpu together..
Your valuable suggestions will help me alot..
Pls help

Hey Seb, thanks for making all these great videos! I have been mining for most of 2021 and watching your videos weekly.
Would you be able to make a video to show how we can mix RTX 3060 V1 GPUs with some of the newer RTX 30XX LHR GPUs in the same rig and still get optimal hasharate out of all of them?

Hi Seb! Thanks for your great content! I have one question: Do I need to focus in the efficiency or in the MH /s? With my 3090 Im getting 103 MH/s with P: 278W and Efficiency: 370Kh/W. Do I need to aim to increase the MH/s ? Thanks!!

Hi Sep ;D mining with 3090 ETH under 400 kh/W with over 300 Watts its not Efficiency ! I use cclock (1125-1140-1155) Memory 1300-1400 124-125MH/s with Efficiency 400(bad Cards) to-430kH/W. 284-315 Watts per Card on t-rex

Hello. Can't set with Afterburner my 3090's core clock to 1300 or 1600mhz. Max setting is 1000 and if I try it the GPU crash instantly. How can you set it? I can't see any setting in AB. Do you use another OC software?

Better to use two 3070(non LHR) for 123 MH using below 240W (combined).
I don't believe 300-400W running 24/7, is healthy for the card. Powerstages are loaded pretty hard around the rated TDP of the card.
