Thank you for all this! That program you linked helped so much and I don't know if it was disabling gpu scaling or what but after all my personal efforts as a PC noob to better my ff14 experience through doing tweaks to the gpu settings, after using your tools my ff14 doesn't make bushes and lines in docks warp and shimmer..... I think there's a tear in my eye.. it all looks so much better

I followed all of the instructions here to a T and I can't notice any big difference in fps.. still struggling a lot with low fps in areas where i've terraformed and built a lot. For whatever reason the game does not want to utilize my GPU.. the fps is terrible.. can anyone help? my specs are i7-5820k, 32gb ram, and 1080 ti. appreciate any help!

99% of this has nothing to do with valheim and is literally just ripped from bogus websites that say the exact same thing over and over and over. These options work if you indeed have power saving mode on. But no one has. And on top of that if you don't meet the recommended specs this wont do jackshit lol.

seems like the kicker is the program you download possibly. i tried every option in video except that and i got a boost of 15 fps if i looked straight up
Running a Ryzen 3700x 32GB RAM 2070 super. average around 80 to 90 fps and gpu only hits 40%. i cant get the gpu to run any higher. fustrating

I am trying to play Valheim on an older laptop with a built-in Intel graphics card that theoretically doesn't meet the specs for the game at all. Following your tips to the greatest extent possible got the game performance from ugh, no to a little ugly, but comfortably playable. Thank you!

It seems that even after patches the biggest performance hits come in areas where you've done extensive terraforming (levelling, trenches, raising ground etc), which is a shame but I'm hoping subsequent patches keep improving this.

What are you running? I have a 1070 and a decent cpu to, even after all this and medium settings im only getting 85 FPS at 1440, its not like this game has great graphics, i would think i would atleast be up in the 100s

Guide to cause instability and placebo's some of those options are on by default and i know cos they cause crashes unless i turn them off even at default settings which is bassicly already on.
