Much like InDesign's gradient tool and methodology. This tutorial gave me dementia. Colour control is fiddly, as demonstrated by this tutorial in which the tutor struggles constantly with said controls. But most demented is the inability to change colours on the fly, you have to create colour swatches first, then edit them afterwards, for every colour in the gradient. Bonkers.

Had never problems with Gradients in CS5. But now in 2020 there are weird lines everywhere (in radial gradients via FX. I deactivated every line-help-tool i could find. Still they appear and kill my projects. Any Idea? :-/ Is it a bug?

God I hate indesign. Everything that I learned in illustrator doesn't translate to indesign. Photoshop and Illustrator are very easy to use but this program is really giving me a headache over the most basic stuff.

Making a pamphlet and I want the gradient to stretch over the 1st. and last page. With facing pages turned on these two pages are at the start and end. How can I get this to be one continuous gradient?

How can I open up a gradient window separate from the color swatches? In mine I can have either one or the other open. :/
