Hi You are brilliant, I have learnt a lot from your tutorial this one and the other video which is called How to use the basic tool in Adobe Illustrator. I have been trying to use direct selection tool to round the edges of a shape, the points inside the shape does not come up like on yr demonstration, therefore I cannot round the shape. Please let me know how to do it step by step if you do not mind. One more thing is where can I find Command key on my HP Laptop please.

What an amazing teacher you are Dan, Im new to Adobe apps and learning so much! Curious where did you get that Gotham Bold font? I dont have it. Not in the Find More either. Maybe a purchase you made? I know I can just use another for the tutorial but wondering if Im supposed to have it in my CC? Thanks again and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

These courses have been really good. Learning lots, and even if I know how to do something already, there is a little shortcut or alternate way of doing it. Very helpful.

17: 34 drawing T when I use direct selection tool I d'ont see the corner points to made the corners sphere. When I start new document, I see them well. How is this happen?

1: 28: 14 - You can brush the text, just drag the brush over it. It is a funny comination with dashed lines and choosen brush. Anyway, thank you very much for this tutorial.

I'm loving the explanation but somehow I can not put my program layout exactly the same as in the video, so its getting hard to find out where are all the tools. thanks!

omg that gradient expand linepicking. one could select the entire object with a single drag, then remove the big pieces. much eazier than add tons of tiny pieces

just FYI, adobe CS 5 also has the width tool, along with the path eraser tool which I've seen several tutorials saying they were exclusive to CC.
