You have 2 methods to install a theme 1. Using WordPress search 2. Using Google search First method in installing a theme is by using WordPress search. Go to your dashboard Appearance Themes So, to add a theme, click Add New. You can see a number of themes which can be installed on WordPress. To search for a particular theme, Enter the theme name in the search box Now click Install & click Activate. To find a theme using google search. Search for the theme on Google Now have a look at all these results and choose your theme. To install it, download the theme. The downloaded theme will be in zip format. Now you need to upload this theme in WordPress by clicking Add New in the theme page. Click Upload Theme & choose your zip file. Once youve uploaded the theme, click Install & Activate. So now the theme will be installed on your WordPress website. This is how you can install a theme in WordPress

I am a Non-Technical person trying to create a website after learning basic concepts. I did not know the usefulness of Theme in a website. By watching this video I was able to understand why the themes are required, how and from where the Themes can be installed and activated. Thanks a lot.

I got mental tension because of errors after u taught
I could not install anything in computer. After i downloaded a template . Boom, full mess in my website and nothing i could understand and see

My wordpress looks just like yours but I'm still not able to change to a different theme. After I install the theme is the same. Great video, I'm not sure if I will continue using wordpress with all the different plugins.

It looks like we cannot upload themes anymore if the account isn't a paid one. Any basic plan onwards allows uploading themes now. Such a bummer. But this video is too good. Thank you for being so articulate.

Hello ! Greetings ! I deleted all my previous themes but activating new theme it automatically takes old theme format into it . So there are two themes merging over here ! Please revert back and help !

Does not work. After install and refreshing, the theme is not as the preview, it show only text but not the design, any help?
