Why are they showing off new products when they can't make enough of the current graphics cards? Plus those prices, -starting- at $1199 (add at least $250 for the actual purchase) is ridiculous and starting at $599 (add at least $150 for the actual purchase) for the 3070 is still high. Then add in the mark up from the dealers that know they will sell to miners at any price so why not jack up the price some more. Nothing exciting in this presentation at all for me. I have a 4Gb 1050 Ti that I want to upgrade but I don't want to have that sore rectum feeling from getting reamed at the checkout.

Its a little to late to implements RTX in DOOM E. Might as well run DOOM 2016 with Re-Shade and Ray Tracing using McFly's RT/PT mod. It really just works and doesn't require proprietary hardware. Also, you can run DOOM 2016 with a 3. 6GHz Q6600 from 2007 and a GTX 1050ti at 1080p60 maxed out, Or 1080p90/120 with an RX480 8GB (RX580. Gotta love the Vulkan API.

Its funny to see all the dumping on Nvidia while at my local Micro Center, they have had a couple of 6900XT's in stock now for a few weeks. for just $2, 599. 99. Yes in stock. sitting there. I'm surprised those cards are sitting on the shelf still.
