Cheapest PC build, you're not including what is needed to actually USE the PC. Like monitor, keyboard, mouse, SOME form of speakers? and hopefully, UPS or at least a power-strip with shit power protection. If you're putting together a list, please be complete. Buyers can discern from that list where tHEy can save monies (they choose to) but you should at least make basic recommendations for the novice builders (being a professional and all) These things are requirements especially for novices to PC's. Oh, power outage that left your system corrupted? Should have gotten a UPS. This does increase the price quite a bit but if people are spending $300 bucks they may or may not have, they should have spent more and you're also covering your ass. EVERY PC should be on a UPS, period. Graceful shutdown in the event of power outage. Or, your $270 bucks is a hot mess and you're like, -. why. but PC World said. :: tears: :- Keyboard/mouse/monitor? how are you suppose to do anything with your $270 PC if you can see or interact with what its doing? I realize what 'others' spec and you guys should be above that and more helpful and realistic to users about further hidden costs. You already have recommendations for budget monitors, etc. Why not be complete? Also, cases with power supply included have absolute garbage power supplies that no one experienced would plug 200$ worth of electronics in to. TT is at least better so I agree with you on that for a budget build. Very least should include keyboard/mouse/UPS

I like thermaltake PSU but NEVER buy the low end and $50 is too low the last 2 I bought in that price range we GARBAGE you could tell just by looking at the wires and they wouldn't even run an LGA 775 machine in and I bought those PSU in 2014, ended up buying weaker used 425 watt thermaltake from ebay from the Windows XP era for $25 and they out performed the brand new 500 watt $50 80 plus bronze PSU, my main rig runs off a 1200 watt thermaltake and is fine though had it running 4way titan Kepler sli and 3930k-4. 8ghz no prob

There's a disconnect here, because I'm struggling to understand why anyone would pay $500 for a video card when you can buy a used 480/580 on eBay for around $100, or even 1060s for a little more. Even if they're just holdover cards, that's proof enough that the used video card market is extremely volatile right now with Crypto Miners dumping these cards right and left. nVidia is going to get undercut hard if these used prices continue what they are.

holy crap.
I went to their site and they did everything to this phone and have a video of it. Froze it in ice and dropped it from a building, froze it in liquid nitrogen, blew it up, caught it on fire, and much more. Im curious to see how you guys are going to test this. Id suggest going to their site because they are giving some phones away. You just need to give them a little information about yourself and your occupation.

1: 03: 59 -PCWorld tell Gordan that's where he's wrong kiddo I have done my homework on a smartphone and PS3 browser, the phone was a Samsung Galaxy S 3 granted it took me a couple of hours due to proofreading and fixing typos but I did get a B- on my business analysis paper: ) then I dropped Business for Computer Science soon after lol.

Opted for build #4. When my Ryzen 7 1700x CPU order (eBay) was cancelled (a day later) on Cyber Monday was able to substitute the more powerful Ryzen 7 2700x (with cooler) & better As Rock x470 Mobo as a combo for only $33 more. Turned out to be a terrific build for only $699. Great video and build suggestions. Thanks all!

I'm glad there isn't too much pressure to have the deals on one day anymore. Tired of the endless lines and stories of crowds trampling people to save $30 on some tech. I think the idea of limited online deals will take off this year because people don't have to leave the house.

Yeah but with a console you need a TV, so 400$ is not your only cost. Also I am really looking forward to the Intel, AMD saga coming next year it will be interesting to see if they can continue the trend of over taking marketshare.

$800 for a 1440p 34-? I spent $750 8+ years ago for 3x 1920x1200 running Nv surround and have 6' of monitor real estate. way better for game immersion IMO and they're cheaper now 8 years later.

Why would anyone buy a used miner video card for any price? They push those to the max all day every day. I mean, if that's how you would anyways spend your time playing video games then. whatever
