Well , Zen4 has an IGP now too and i guess its only a matter of Time that it will be used ( when it makes sense ) in future App updates . The Zen4 IGP was definitly not used in Premiere Pro , give it some Time ... , its AMDs first IGP , the APUs were more targeted on Gamers than Apps . The IGP is built in , the App only has to use it , its not such a big Deal i guess , RDNA2 media de/encoder is not new . Machine learning ? Alderlake faster ? never ... , geekbench has to update their Bench , if VNNI is used which Zen4 is the one and only consumer CPU which support it , Alder/Raptorlake will only see the backlights of Zen4

I m just 3 minutes into this, and it s already sooooo bloody. Update: great job, Gordon! And great discussion with Adam. We got not just numbers, but perspective.
My take on the Geekbench anomaly (AMD way ahead on single core in ML and AES, but Intel way ahead on multicore): it s probably a bug and doesn t take advantage of AMDs multicore.
Re: sneak peak from Intel on their 13th gen, they used to never do this. Them teasing what s coming is a huge acknowledgment of AMD as a legit rival. The jump in performance every gen is amazing again.

Question: Will there be Gen 5 SSDs at launch? Last I heard was that they will be out a month later. If that's so, who would buy 7000 series now? If I wanted a gen 4, I'd wait till the cheap motherboards come out. Or just go alder lake, or hashtag wait for 13th gen. I really hate how these launches go. I was going to buy one, but I'm not so sure.

I'm looking at that strange text in some of those benchmarks, and I'm pretty sure thats the language used by the creator race in Prometheus, and now I'm pretty sure Gordon is part of that race, which explains why he has such a hatred of Alien Covenant.

I like how u actually show tue lightly threaded boost clocks Ryzen had always struggled with. Anything from 2-8 cores like games etc ryzen just doesn't clock high enough.

I was waiting for this review. In my humble opinion, PCWorld has the most sincere, honest, clear CPUs reviews around. Thank you for the hard work guys.

I'm beginning to wonder if it even makes any sense to wait for Zen 4 with 3D V Cache, seeing that games are so GPU bottlenecked anyway.

800 fps on csgo? Damm that's alot. Now i kinda want to get one of these. That's like 2-3 times more frames than my current setup.
