What about micronutrients like vitamins or minerals? Or about insulin-s response to high GI food? All foods aren-t equal even if they sum similar macros up
IIFYM is fine if you take it a as a concept purely for weight loss / maintenance / weight gain, but doesn-t promote a healthy lifestyle which, in my opinion, is more important and more sustainable

I'm 53, I work out 5-6 days per week (4 days weight training, 2 days of circuit training. I've tried flexible dieting for over a year, but I seem to be getting more pudgy in the midsection. I've stopped alcohol, and I try to make sure my macros are pretty clean. Any ideas on changes I should make?

Caloric deficit. I'm 35 and luckily my genetics plus me being active I've never been slightly chubby or fat. I predict at 50 I'll still look 35 mind&body because of listening to Joe Rogan

Don-t underestimate the power of compound exercises. Make sure you include them in your workout routine. They-re your best tools for maximum muscle growth.
