Look at Edgar vs Penn 2, Edgar beat Penn down and there was no doubt who won, but there was barely a mark on BJ's face. And to your second question fighters get caught all the time, that's like asking why Chuck Liddell didn't avoid Franklin's punch at UFC 115 or why Tim Sylvia didn't get out of Nogueira's choke hold back at ufc 81

-forbesfoofighters exposed as a a true champion. if ya can take a -beating- like that and still win u r bad ass. and dont try to say mir was a bad ass when he made brock tap. brock made a mistake and the ref reset them. now that was a beating. but ill say for and the rest of yo kind (chael fans) he lasted 5 rounds. and thx to im $100 richier

-the1truth1hurts Your an idiot, Chael actually dominated the striking and grappling aspects of the game. He dropped Anderson Silva a couple of times and made Anderson look like an amateur in the standup. Chael simply got caught in a submission
