The Benefit of Tracking Calories/Macros for Fat Loss Mizan: I started a keto diet weighing in at around 93kg, after the initial loss of around 2/3 kg water weight I also stalled, but the key here was that I assumed, because my carbs were low I would automatically lose weight. But the real issue was that my calories were at maintainance, with any diet or eating convention if you eat over your maintainance calories you will gain weight, in my case I was eating exactly the calories I needed to maintain my body weight. From here you have two options, lower your calories or add cardio, I did the latter, but I added the cardio everytime I hit a plateau thus inducing a further caloric deficit.
The idea is to add cardio or calorie reductions progressively or everytime you hit a plateau. Any drastic reductions in calories will cause metabolic damage and you will be left with no further options. In my personal experience reductions of 200 to 300 calories is enough to allow for fatloss. The keto diet is no magic diet, but when used with a caloric deficit it is sublime.

Hey man awesome video. However I think this is a classic case of her either cheating or not accurately counting calories. Her number of calories were never mention, and from the information provided she doesnt seem like she is weighing her foog ect. I personally went on a 3-4 month cut on a set calorie amount and cardio routine and lost 30 pounds without changing anything, (i am not special) I dont think she hit a plateau because she went low carb, Also she can also be retaining water from all that cardio and low calories which can mask fat loss on the scale.
