By adding an exercise to the overall goal you actually end up increasing not just holding your breath, but also what you can actually do with it in case you really had to. Endurance. For example say like save someone trapped in an overturn car in river, or vehicle pulled back with boat at a boat ramp. More time to rescue people. Etc. My training was doing laps underwater eventually getting to 9 min fully submerged. But if you do this then do it with someone watching your back.

Thats pretty impressive.
I want to learn how to hold my breath without any warm ups or breath ups. Just taking a small breath and hold it. Currently Im doing about 2 minutes each time I try. Is it okay to train myself that way?

Hi Christian! Your videos are amasing and truly inspiring. What would you suggest, does it make sense to practice this breath holding method at home, while sitting on sofa? I mean I dont have access to pool evey time.
