Knott's Bear-y Tales: Return to the Fair will take guests on an exciting journey through reimagined show scenes from the original dark ride, including the Boysenberry Pie Factory, Frog Forest, Fortune Teller Camp, Thunder Cave, and Weird Woods, culminating in a celebration at the County Fair Kira: Cute theming and story. Wish they would have incorporated some animatronics along the way. Is this still the same track layout as the old dinosaur ride that was there? It seems so much smaller/shorter than that layout.

Do you need special glasses for this type of ride? And if so how do you work those with prescription glasses. The last time I was at any kind of amusement place (Disneyland) I was 6 years old and no glasses. Now I am mid 20's and very much need glasses to enjoy anything. No one in my family has gone to a place like this relying on glasses, my parents only needing them in the last decade or so. So we are at a lost of how to work rides.
Edit; just talked my Mom about this place. She has been there before! (Both parents born Californian, actually all of us where) She thought the had closed and weren't there anymore!

This is a completely different ride that Iron Reef. As I can tell, each projector screen and physical effect are placed differently instead if just slapping it over the previous attraction (Looking at you Mike & Sully to the Rescue) Alll I know what's similar is the track layout that doesn't reduce the charm of the ride. Very good improvement from its predecessor.

Well that's cool how the train/cart expands! I also think the gun is cool how you shoot jelly to the pies. This video was beary good, sorry for the joke

The coolest part of this ride is how the guns look like mason jars. Still curious as to why they closed Iron Reef when it was only open for 5 years.
