The Lost River of the Pharaohs is literally THE SAME ride from Cameron Roubique 's KILL RIVER 3, the concluding entry of his AMAZING slasher trilogy and I am shook watching this. It IS the book, the very thing I'd pictured in my imagination, come to life. I knew the water parks from his novels were based upon real locations but somehow it'd slipped my attention that this particular attraction actually existed.

Nope nope nope nope nope. The dinosaur one I could never go on. I have claustrophobia, am terrified of the dark, and don't like animatronics getting close to me. I also have submechanophobia which is kind of apart of that I guess. Don't ask why I'm up at 11: 58 Pm lol

Brings back fond childhood memories. These rides are nearly 30 years old. Used to go to waterworld all the time as a child in the early 90s. Moved from Colorado years and years ago. Always wondered if these were still there. Thanks for the blaast from the past.

wow, those look great. Funny how a few of the props and set pieces are borrowed ideas from other rides, but it's all good. It is surprising that Disney and Universal haven't done something like this

I'm usually a silent viewer. but they took waterslide theming to a whole different level I had to say something!

Second, I've never seen a ride like this unless you have to be in a boat or something. Very impressive!

We definitely need to have more of these dark water park rides at water parks around the U. S, especially Walt Disney World Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.

At first I thought is was a normal water slide and then I was shocked to see the dark ride part I guess I didn t read the title lol
