(Excellent Low Light) Full Night-time Tower of Terror Ride-through 2015 at Disney California Adventure. This past July 22nd, also mark the 20th birthday of Disney's Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World. It's like riding a scary Elevator Ride, where there is an accident on an elevator and you drop 13 floors. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, commonly known as Tower of Terror, is an accelerated drop tower dark ride located at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney California Adventure, Tokyo DisneySea and Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris. Exempting the Tokyo version, all the attractions are based upon Rod Serling's CBS television anthology series, The Twilight Zone, and take place in the fictional Hollywood Tower Hotel, in Hollywood, California. The Tokyo version, which features an original storyline not derived from The Twilight Zone, takes place in the fictional Hotel Hightower. Nevertheless, all four versions place riders in a vehicle themed as a seemingly ordinary hotel elevator, and present riders with a fictional back story in which people mysteriously disappeared from a hotel elevator under the influence of some supernatural element many years prior. - Wikipedia and Disney's websites

I'm a SoCal born and raised native. But my first experience was the one at Walt Disney World in Florida, 1 year before this one opened. And I need to more than suggest and implore you all to ride the original at Hollywood Studios in Florida. They only gave us half the ride here in California unfortunately, probably due to space limitations. The queue is also so much bigger and themed like a REAL hotel with gardens and big out of service fountains and statues. It just really has that old timey hollywood feel to it.

hey I may have seen some of the behind the magic if you don't wanna know how the effects work, read no furtherif ya do, pause at like 2: 24 and look closely at the flooring in front of the ghosts. as far as I know, there's a glass pane) that I think is tilted and I saw on another video that the ghosts r projected from the SIDE of the hallway and onto the pane(if that's whats there.

What I gathered is this. 1. Disney clearly doesn't care about what their fans want. Because they clearly aren't listening to the thousands of people saying that they want the ride to stay. 2. Disney is obviously on a major cash-grab, changing the ride into one of the new hit (The movie wasn't THAT good) movies.

I would've loved to have ride it. But since they replaced with guardians of the galaxy mission breakout it's okay, it's still the same ride with a new story and a good theme. I hope I can ride the Tower of Terror at Disney world. If they will ever replace it though.

I never understood why the mirror effect takes place before the hallway effect. It just doesn't make sense. You're zapped into the twilight zone, then you're back at the hotel seeing ghosts telling you to join them in the twilight zone? It makes no sense.

Everyone needs to stop. Dca is special in its own way. Stop saying that one is better than the other and he greatful that dca is unique. Flordia has the 5th dimension scene and Dca has the mirror scene. They are both amazing in their own way

I think they upgraded the ride a little bit. I saw older videos and in the very beginning, it didn't have that swirly loop hole. And in the mirror scene, the wind blowing on the window looks better and realistic.

Hey SoCal, do you think it's okay if I use the P. O. V. section of this video to edit into my own video since I was not allowed to film the actual ride, just the queue?
reply

Hope you will or have recorded the Orlando Florida version. You did a great job with this one and it would be really cool to tell a friend who can't ride what it's like.
