Daniel Lofthouse, thank you for the information about the old band members. I felt badly about the thought that the new style Disneyland Park would just drop the older band members so that they could hire cheaper young people and re-style the band as a drum and bugle corp take-off. I still think that this was their intention, (hiring young cheaper labor to replace more expensive employees) but not just letting the older band members go is a lot better than what we were told. I'm glad your dad was able to retire, and I hope he is enjoying his free time

The last time we were at Disneyland, the employees were talking about the old band members being let go. How sad. What fun song is this? I don't know, but I sure can't sing along with them. I can go to a drum and bugle corp performance to hear this. Not Disneyland. I won't be stopping to listen like I did the old style band. Why couldn't the park have kept both?

What's new about this? New uniforms and some younger kids who can't play as well. But membership rollover is normal and they always learn a new show or two each year right?

Sorry, I've tried to like the New Disneyland Band, but I just can't. .. What's next. .. rapping? But thanks for posting this video.

This is mini drumcorps with saxes. I don't believe this is what Walt wanted. Far cry from an 1890's early 1900's town band.
