Okay, about the room trick at 4: 14. DAMN is it good. I'll call it flawless bc it took me a good twenty minutes of replay, pausing and searching down into comments. Still, I don't think it was adequately explained. If you go to the moment when the cam first enters the room, PAUSE. It's the best angle. 1. The mirror is not as tall as the monster room, only as tall as the bedroom, about halfway. 2. The grids are the PERFECT camouflage for this. What you actually are looking at is the wall to the RIGHT of the room. The mirror is as tall as the door and angles out maybe 120 degrees. I suck at geometry. 3. That yellow tank at the bottom hides the seam between the mirror and floor. 4. You can kinda see the ceiling light beaming off the top of the mirror if you draw your eyes directly back from the top of the door to the back wall. 5. The room looks as if it's on a slight incline, so they might be using forced perspective. This is damn brilliant I was like awww the entire ride. I get up to this point and go, Wait. what? LOL. Gotta love it. Also I'm gonna assume that Tony's Grossarys is a play on gross and grocery and not a typo. Right? Please someone tell me that's intentional.

One of the rules to making a good story that Pixar tries to follow is Accidents that get your character into trouble are good, accidents that get them out of trouble are cheating. Not only was Randall's defeat an overly cheesy violation of this rule, the butterfly net was completely unessesary and majorly subtracts from my perception of him as a threat. He built a machine that sucks screams out of children and possibly kills them in the process. Give that lizard some respect

wait y'all expect me to believe that randall, a reptilian monster who's able to cling onto walls, camouflage into his surroundings, built a machine that could extract screams from anyone who came in contact with it, was defeated by mike toppling him over in the garbage disposal? 2? i guess

This is like the Men in Black ride at Universal Studios, but so much better The animatronics work so much smoother and it's much more advanced than the other ride. Even each flashlight have their own unique print. Ahhhh, I'd go to Disneyland Tokyo just for this ride

How on Earth did they make that Boo's door effect Like you can clearly see behind the door, and yet there's still clearly a whole room behind them that isn't just a screen or projector I'm sure there are some fancy mirror placements at work here, but still

This ride was cool But I think it got a bit dark after Randall fell into the Garbage Chute Sure, it's funny to see him get beaten up in the film when Boo hits him, but this is one feature that definitely makes it outstanding from the other one Nice job

It looks okay, but not quite as good as Astro Blasters. Also, I find it interesting that during the garbage masher scene, the blade is nowhere to be found. But then again, I suppose that makes sense. This time, somebody's actually inside it.

Quite possibly the cutest ride I've ever seen. Wish our Monsters Inc ride here at DLR was like this Poor thing is just rotting away not getting many riders since it's hidden tucked in the back where no one can really see it.

Wow This ride looks so well done and cool, especially the part where Randall was put through the grinder and was given the appearance to have gone through it, incredible DCA should totally refurbish / rebuild their ride into this.
