This ride is probably my favorite Disney memory XD When I went to HongKong Disneyland a few years ago, I was maybe six? Seven? But I was too short to go on a lot of the rides, and TERRIFIED of the dark. My mom drags me over to Space Mountain, and we find out that I am the exact right height for it, so she throws me over her shoulder and hikes into the attraction. (Note: she had no idea what the ride was, just knew that I was tall enough for it and ask no more questions) When we go onto the ride, we're both shoved into the two person seat when they put the safety bars over us. Immediately, my mom asks what type of ride it is to the Cast Member strapping us in and he replies that it has deep drops, before proceeding to the next person. My mom is horrified by then, as she is traumatized by all roller coasters and still is, seeing as she bailed out on the Seven Dwarves Mine Train in February after waiting an hour and when we were about to clamber into the train. Anyway, I'm hiding in her jacket, as I only see the dark, black abyss in front of us and being six years old immediately assume that a demon is going to jump out and drag us to hell, and throughout the ride I just heard my mom screeching bloody murder and overtime I looked up I couldn't see anything. And that's the story of the time me and my mother were both traumatized for life. :)

No No, no, no, no, no That is not space mountain. Only the original one is Florida is good. Sure it's bumpy but at least it's good. The queue is interactive and the fact that it is double sided makes the line go faster. Also the sudden drops, twists, and turns make you feel like you are actually blasting of in space. Plus, the lift hill in Florida is amazing I don't care if you don't agree with me. I just wanted to share MY opinion.

I've been to HK Disneyland for like 5 times already and this is my favorite ride ALL THE TIME. When I watched this I was kinda confused since this was slow but it's really fast once you ride it. Not to mention drops, turns, and speed comes in every corner. There's a warning sign in the loading station that shows a way where you can get out if you have second thoughts

What a great video The quality is excellent. Perhaps it's your camera. or perhaps it's the fact that the ride looks about 10x better quality in Hong Kong than it does at either of the American locations. It was also jarring to see the ride goers wearing winter coats. You're just not used to seeing that here in the US, since both parks are in warm climates.

This is much better compared to the space mountain in disneyland california. it has more visual effects and the stars/shooting stars looks very real or 3-Dimensional, as well as the black hole at the beggining, super epic. WOW The one in LA lacks some of these effects, looks very dark inside. but i know they will upgrade it in the future.

Disneyland in California needs to take a page from Hong Kong Disneyland's book with this ride. Our version in California is much darker and doesn't have asteroids or anything like that. Plus, the projections look like they haven't been updated since 2005. Just my 2 cents

This space mountain is the one that's does not know what it's doing. Like the blue or purple rings they got the supernova from Paris space mountain (don't know when both if these came outside maybe pairs came first) so Hong Kong, fix your space mountain

This version of Space Mountain is more interesting than the other version that I saw. It's because there are more stuff to see here like stars, galaxies, comets, and asteroids. The other version was mostly just a plain black scene. Nothing.

For everyone complaining about the audio, there is a video on YouTube with the full audio and visuals (worse visuals, but that's cuz it's old. You can always splice them together if you're really complaining about the audio.
