An ultra-luxury Alaska voyage with The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is an intimate, boutique expedition aboard the superyacht Luminara, combining the wild, remote grandeur of the Last Frontier with high-end, private-yacht elegance.
The Yacht Experience:
1) The Ship: Sailings take place on Luminara, a custom-built superyacht accommodating a maximum of just 452 passengers, served by nearly 374 crew members.
2) Suites: Every suite features a private terrace, floor-to-ceiling windows, luxury marble finishes, and personalized concierge service.
3) Dining & Wellness: Enjoy world-class culinary concepts, including menus curated by top chefs, plus an expansive spa, infinity pools, and a marina-style platform for water access.
Itineraries and Destinations:
1) Exclusive Access: Because of its small size, the yacht docks in secluded ports and narrow fjords that massive cruise ships cannot reachsuch as Wrangell, Klawock, and Valdez.
2) Route Options: Voyages typically range from 7 to 11 nights, sailing between Vancouver, British Columbia, and Whittier, Alaska, weaving through the breathtaking Inside Passage.
3) Enriched Exploration: Expert-led excursions include privately chartered glacier flights, Zodiac safaris, whale watching, and wildlife viewing during peak bear seasons and salmon runs. Onboard naturalists, historians, and photographers host daily lectures and recaps.

Good Morning Traveler.
OM Goodness, what do I see, the Junior Executive Team, traveling with Thee! YAY!
And you capture the famous Million Dollar Sunset in Canada. We can add this to your collection of sunsets from around the world.
First stop Ketchikan. With the MSC Poesia, and RCI's Anthem of the Seas. The Glorious Queen Elizabeth (She was recently retrofitted for her Alaskan season)
Wow, the World Residences ship is traveling in your neighborhood. You don't often get to see her, unless you meet her on her world cruise itinerary.
Amazing, the Sitka Sunset is really gorgeous. Your Itinerary is different from the Usual Alaskan Grind it seemed really nice and quiet, away from the bustle.
Thanks for a beautiful journey.

I was so happy to see you do another cruise, and especially this one! Definitely on our bucket list.
It was a bit startling to see your grown up kids - they were such little people when I started watching you, and now they’re so tall and obviously very capable. (Well done, mum and dad)
Your filming is always top notch, and as I’m a foodie, I really love how much you’ve improved your food photography.
It’s an under-recognised skill!

Beautiful boat! Beautiful journey!
Beautiful photography!
Well done, once again, dear LTE!
Loved the whales and the woodland hikes!
2 of my brothers have done an Alaskan cruise - not quite so fancy- and totally loved it! Spoke often of it! They have both passed, so this brings some fond memories.
Astounding scenery and sunsets!
Does Ritz-Carlton plan on adding any more ships to their yacht line

My only observation (and slight criticism) with this and in fact other luxury hotels. The bottle of champagne. Not everyone including myself and my partner like champagne and it would be left behind. It’s a pity that they didn’t give you a choice pre boarding to chose either champagne or from a list of 5 or 6 choices of spirits - my partner and I would choose a whisky. Specially given this is all inclusive anyway.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful video! I’ve never been a big fan of cruises, but this video made me think, I’d love to try this Ritz-Carlton Yacht!
You’ve mentioned that your three favorite cities are Cape Town, Vancouver, and New York. I’d love to know what you like most about them, especially Vancouver, since I’m hoping to visit soon.

I love living in this part of the world. The seas, the rain forests and the mountains are beautiful. Wildfires have been bad this year, even though the smoke makes for colorful rich sunsets. It has been a dry winter and summer. Also just an FYI you NEVER want to be that close to bears especially when there are cubs. Not safe you were lucky. -Cheers from Seattle!

Nice video!
This takes me back to the 14 day Alaska cruise that my wife and I did back in 2010 on the Celebrity Millennium!
Obviously the ship was not as grand as The Ritz Carlton yacht but it was nice enough!
This video brings back memories!

Beautiful and informative video LTE, Thanks.
When your group along with others arrived at Ketchikan it did give me a sense of the town getting overcrowded by all the tourists. It made me wonder if that made it an unenjoyable visit.

I took a cruise with a family member on another cruise line from Seattle up through the Inside Passage of Alaska. The most incredible natural scenery I have ever experienced. Ketchikan was a fun town despite the rain.

Important question: not having ever been on a big cruise before, did you or many of your fellow travelers encounter seasickness during the voyage Or was the ship family stable during the trip Thank you!

Amazing ambiente. But strictly speaking, it's not a luxury yacht, it's a very high-end cruise ship. Because it has a fixed itinerary. A luxury yacht goes wherever the owner or charter guest wants it to.

I hope you got to try the salmon berries - they’re delicious! I actually have a small bush growing in a pot on my deck. It’s only the first year so hoping for fruit next year.
