Cheetah Hunt High Speed Roller Coaster Ride-through at Busch Gardens Tampa, Florida. Ryan H: I ride this coaster yesterday for the first time. It was insanely awesome. The drop is pretty intense and the airtime hills are awesome. When we did the loop the coaster was so slow that my thighs were on the restraints and I was holding on for dear life. I give the ride a 9/10. Awesome ride Hope if you guys have ridden it that you guys had an awesome time on it Also if you like to ride rollercoaster and you havent ridden it, RIDE IT. Especially cobras curse. Cobras curse and cheetah hunt are tied for my favorite ride at Busch gardens.

The launches are smooth compared to Powder Keg, Poltergeist, and Mr. Freeze Reverse Blast but then again, those three, use a different type of launch (LIMs. If I am not mistaken, Lightning Rod and Cheetah Hunt, are the only two coasters in the USA that use the same launch mechanisms (LSMs. Wonder how much it would cost to retrofit Powder Keg, Poltergeist, Mr. Freeze, Maverick and Full Throttle with LSMs?

This is one seriously fun coaster. Not extremely intense, but enough that it totally gets your adrenaline pumping. I visited Busch Gardens Tampa in February and the day I went, I was on the last train of the day in the front row, and as it was so beautiful going through the layout with a bright orange and pink sunset. Good times. Probably one of the best experiences I've ever had on a coaster

I was on it in 2018, we were headed into the station and the ride broke down with us LITERALLY 5-10FT from the station. the other cars got stuck on the boosters (IDK name) and we got a one time fastpass for 1 ride so, all is well: )

Going tomorrow and want to give this a go. I rode it a few years back and then avoided coasters for a LONG time lol but recently rode the mummy at universal and loved it We will see what happens.

When i first rode this it went super slow and i was like oh alright then then i went to look at my shoes for som reason and when it started going fast my head banged the side of it.

I went on it and the reason why its so fast is that it uses magnetic energy to achieve those speeds at the start and through the coaster. It is a lot of fun but the line is long(worth the wait)

I love Busch gardens alot especially because they don't say dispatch when the ride starts moving, I don't know why but when ride operators say that it makes me 10x more scared

Love the look, the quick pace of the track, and the endless twists, turn's, flips, and a couple of air time moments Looks like FUN
