Maybe when it was made, animatronics were hard to either put the parts in or program it to move a lot. So it was understandable then, but now in 2018, I a expecting them to upgrade the park and make animatronics that actually move their feet to multiple positions, have more than one detailed facial expression, and also have more movement in their arms. Also I think that the animatronics should, at some scenes, should interact with the audience, and maybe show some scenes that were discarded from the movie. Instead of the actual movie scenes happening all over again.

When it comes to adapting a film into a theme park attraction, the designers should try to simulate what the viewers of the film would want to do while watching the film, for example Peter Pan's flight has guests flying over London, Madagascar is about adventure and exploration and having fun and energy, this ride lacks energy, some parts have guests simply watch scenes of the movie again. Scenes were not dense enough and the lighting was off, Some placements of props were in bad places also, and it's very slow and boring, unlike the movie.

The ride is a VERY DECENT production to reflect the cartoony nature of Madagascar. Kids come to meet the characters, and love it. Adolescents are always annoying as they look for thrill (and that, due to ado psy) just because they want to act artificial tough amongst each other. :-). 90% of negative reactions on a VISUAL ride, come from these not yet equilibrated ado's. :-): -)

My main question is: Why arent they speaking Chinese if were in Singapore? I know its an American property but theyre not even using the original voices so cant they just dub it in Chinese? Thats not an important issue (since the animatronics kinda suck) Im just curious.

was anyone else waiting for at least a small drop? like sad animatronics but at the same time im ssooooo glad they didn't use the whole ride with screens, i loved the concept of the ride, but could have had some more excitement with a drop or two

Lol I love how the part that would require the animatronics to do the most work and more effort put into them would be the move it scene with the lemurs, but instead they just show a screen. Thanks for proving a point that Disney is clearly better

Is it just me. or does Alex (the lion) sound different? (Maybe a different voice actor) just me? Also, seeing that this ride was open in 2017. is just really disappointing. But also really impressive over how much the AI has changed in 1 year

You know what I dont understand why everyone hates this ride I happen to think that this was a great movie and this ride is pretty much the exact same thing as the Peter Pans flight but everyone seems to love that ride

This ride isnt very exciting, but its good with props good colors and kinda sets the mood for the whole movie. I kinda wish the animatronics where more smooth and not jerky. But other than that its an okay ride. 4/10

What a lot of people don't understand about rides like this is-kids enjoy them. Some kids are scared of drops so they kept it simple. Could the animatronics have been better made? Yes. But kids aren't complaining
