My initial thoughts as they ran downhill on ice. yeah. f'n idiots. this is why people think runners are dumb. It's like the woman on the news running during the blizzard who bites it right after her interview. Not much room for error there.
Once they got past it, I found myself sucked in. Loved the filming style and respect the endurance it takes to complete such a task. I might have to tune in to other videos to get a better grasp.

Interesting. we always went down the SK and back up the BA. and of course, never in just one day. (We customarily spent one night at Phantom, then a second night at Indian Gardens to grab the sunset at Plateau Point)
Very definitely agree that you should plan to experience both trails because they're so different: SK follows a ridgeline with spectacular open views, while BA goes up an enclosed canyon.

Sup Danny and Co! I decided to do this trail as my first ever hiking experience. I ran down bright angel and crawled (lol) up south kaibob. Managed to do it in less than 8 hours. I still can't walk properly from how sore I am. But just wanted to thank you danny for motivating me to go out there and start exploring! This hike is something I will NEVER FORGET!

Try the PIT to PEAK in Arizona. Start at the river in the Grand Canyon, Hike to the south rim, bike the 60-70 miles to Arizona Snowbowl/Humphreys peak trailhead around 9200 ft, then skin/ hike 5 miles to Humphreys Peak the tallest in Arizona at 12, 6? And ski off the peak all in 24 hours start to finish. Over 10k of climbing Im sure you could do it

We did R2R2R last November. Amazing adventure! We flew down the north rim and totally fried our quads - a smidge of regret - but it was wicked fun. The pain was motivation to keep running so we could rest back at the top. We can't wait to run into you guys on one of our adventures!

I ran down bright angel and back in a day this past summer and it was killer. Dunked in the Colorado at the bottom to keep cool was bone dry well before the top. Loved seeing the signs calling me crazy

Danny and the Crew: ever consider a live stream to answer fan questions? I'm sure the legions of followers would love to learn more about you since we don't know that many cyborgs.

Could be a lonely trail this summer, with possible travel bans, especially, since the Grand Canyon relies on foreign travelers, but then again quiet might lead to contentment.

Awesome video. I ran the trail the opposite direction about 4 years ago. I paid dearly for it. Got altitude sickness and was puking my guts out for 14 hours after.

Im very confused. Why would you vomit? You are assuming we know why jogging is bad for you. I was just watching for the scenery.
