Boulder - Estes Park - Rocky Mtn Natnl Park - Grand Lake Travel Guide In 1974 I was able to land a summer job with the National Park Service. Our work schedule was 1o days work-4 days off. My job with the NPS was to work with 4 other people on the hiking trails. We would spend 10 days on the trails, keeping them clean and safe. Also, we would pitch our tents off trail, then build fires to cook our meals. After the tenth day, our boss would pick us up, then drive us back to our living quarters called: barracks. This was my first time being alone by myself, since I was from Arlington, Va. Anyway, I came across this clip, and I recall those days. I remember meeting my cousins from Kansas City in Boulder. Being with no car, my only transportation was hitch hiking. I thumbed from Estes Park to Boulder, and also a trip to Denver. I met some nice people in Colo. We, also, partied a lot. Drinking age was 18, and recall a place called: The Rock Inn. Enjoyed your video, makes me want to go back.

I used to live in Colorado and will be back after years away soon. I have told so many friends about it and send them links to videos. they are all nice of course but I recently found you and these are the PERFECT videos to help them see and hear just how great it is! the PERFECT mix of information/narration, ground views and aerial views! THANK YOU and we are all already looking forward to watching more together! Plus you have inspired them to start making concrete plans to come out!

I'm a Colorado native, as was my Father and his family. He was part of the crew who strung the original cable for the gonsola! You've done a wonderful job of showing just how beautiful it is here and how incredible the mountains and the mountain towns are. I wish you could have shown the amazing wildlife of the area I. e. elk, bighorn sheep, mountain goats. Not to mention mountain lion and bear. I'll see you for my bi-yearly trip to Tampa!

I live in boulder and videos like this brings in to many tourists. I live on a mountain right by boulder falls and it kinda sucks because my yard is over crowded. Everyone throws there trash on the ground and i have to clean it up. Good video. I really enjoyed it. And so yeah this is Colorado. Its beautiful and now its overcrowded. And people are rude. They deface the mountains with spray paint. It makes me cry.

Never visited there, was never a tourist. I was a resident of Denver/Estes Park from birth all through my early years till I went to college (CU/Boulder) where I resided another 12. Wait - I did visit all three much later, as a German visitor - several times, with my laddy, who knows and misses the RMNP and Boulder. Glorious.

Hello Randy, First of all I hope you are ok with your elbow, I noticed you have a bandage Otherwise, I loved your new video, it is excellent with beautiful music, the architecture is very beautiful. The landscape is magnificent with small chalet, it looks a bit like Switzerland. Take care of you.

We live in South Carolina and are headed out to Denver/Grand Lake area next week. We've never been to this beautiful state, but have been up and down the east coast, eastern and western Caribbean. Thank you for a great and scenic video! We are so excited to visit this region.

Estes Park will be a ghost town one day because the natives can't afford to live there and neither can the average person! This leaves basic services like trash and other basic needs to be left un attended. It was on 9 news a few weeks ago, I believe it!

Love this series. You provide awesome details and random stuff that travel videos often don't do. I'm heading out to Colorado for a week during the summer and will definitely use these as a reference point

Our daughter went to college in Lakewood. Been up there many times and seen a lot of things to do. Wished I would have come across your videos sooner. Apparently we missed a few things. So much to do there.

You did a great job capturing the outdoor beauty of the area. Grand Lake and Estes Park is a favorite Colorado Rockies escape. I hope your arm is ok as I seen that it was wrapped. Thank you for sharing your trip!

Another excellent video. That area is beautiful and owns a place in my heart. Keep posting your quality content, it is not only informative, professionally mastered and narrated, but also very relaxing.

Really liked the video. There is no way to cover Boulder, Estes and Grand Lake in one 24 minute video, but I think you were able to capture the vibe of each place as well as it could be done.

I visited Estes Park a few weeks ago and watched this video to reminisce. This video def captures a lot of the beauty of Colorado! When I go back, will have to check out some of your suggestions!

Was just up in Nederland last week, you have a choice at the Traffic Circle, continue to the second right, and go to Estes Park via the Peak-to-Peak highway. Or go to Boulder. why

Great video! Love the area and have been there many times before altitude sickness sent me to lower ground. Wish you'd mentioned the Frozen Dead Guy famous in Nederland! Such a story!

Great video with some bold drone flying! Seems like drone flying is legal in Colorado towns. We're going to Glenwood Springs soon and I'll be taking my Air 2s with me.

I can't believe you missed Overlook Hotel from the Shining! Good video anyway! And from 19: 45 to 22: 00 I do not understand how anyone can deny God. Thank you!

Visited this summer - way too crowded. The park needs to rethink their reservation system. The town needs to limit the number of tourists. Not a fun experience

You did forget the Gem of Estes Park, the Stanley Hotel of Stanley Steamer fame and film site for The Shining (interior only. It's a real treat.

Boulder is not progressive. Boulder is straight up Communist. The People's Republic of Boulder has long been anti capitalists and anti soap.
