And poor service you will find everywhere just as good service. If you travel you should be aware that not the whole world will have same customs or laws or whatever so leave your own at home or be prepared to experience other cultures or just stay home I say.

It's gunny being a Belgian, the public transport is really good (train, tram, bus and even metro at some cities, a lot of Belgians complain about it for being late al the time. But just one car driving terrible costs a lot of time for a bus. Too many people crossing the train tracks costs the trains a lot of time, and even some trains stay stationed while waiting at other trains to lake sure the people can get from one train on the other. I almost never had to wait a lot of time.

The thing is, most Belgians don't even know what good beer is. So they would recommend things like Hoegaarden, Stella or Leffe to foreners. Whilst we have some great brewerys like Dochter vd korenaar, Struise brouwers, Chimay, het anker. But i would say in all fairness, the world has been catching up with our beers for a few years now. My favorite beers are actualy beers from other countries. Countries like Holland, Estonia and aspecially the US are making awesome stuff.

Service here not so super? Really dude? I have been in over 25 countries and i got to tell you Belgian service is one of the top!
They do not cheat you, you don't get unexpected amount attached to your bill, you don't have to tip. i mean come on if you think Belgium Service is bad go check out Italy my friend; ) i think you will very quickly appreciated how good is Belgium service.

4: 30 im from belgium (Flandrians)myself and in the citys and other places where a lot of tourists go to, the transport is very great. Although there aren't a lot of bus drivers so in the smaller towns, the public transport is less amazing. There are a lot of busses from small town to small town that just wont ride every time they have to. Thats just something i wanted to say

The service in Belgium is super, don't let this obnoxious American fool you. So full of themselves, boy oh boy. Their Number 45, you know the fascist president, is still sobbing on his golden potty in Florida though he has the best service ever there, as his staff brings him his golden toilet paper on a golden plate.

'In Belgium they have great public transport.
As a belgian living in small town in Wallonia I can tell you that the public transportation (at least in the south of the country) sucks, it is old, trains are often late, tickets are totally overpriced, not enough busses/tramways lines. It rly does suck

So happy you don't forget to travel to our little country! It's relatively small but we have some amazingly beautiful cities, great food and a lot of fun things to do. Also very happy to hear that you love my hometown Ghent

Yes, in Belgium we have trains, buses, trams, ect. You should really give them a try. They are the biggest joke in Belgium. When you get in you never know when - and if you will arrive at your destination.

I know quite a few people in Avelgem and Brussels though, although I've never left the leaf-land
