Well, I take exception to your comments about Portuguese Drivers, they are not crazyyou need to take it back, every driver need to pass a very extensive course and an in-depth on the road demonstration of his or her skill, every test is done with a standard transmission, they need to know how to hold a car on a hill with the clutch, ponto de embraiagem.
Look it up! I have travelled extensively in your country, I own a home there! And while there Im respectful of who you are, how you treat foreigners, how your people drive, how knowledgeable they are of the world around them, and many other things that simply I dont feel this is the forum to bring it up.
One thing we dont do is kill innocent people indiscriminately.
If you dont like how Portuguese drive, simply pack your crap and go back to the US, we dont need you there.

Funnily enough as a Portuguese and a biker, driver and cyclist I find the American traffic nerve wracking. You can't split lanes, people don't know what blinkers are and they seem to have it out for anyone on two wheels. In Portugal, like most of Europe cars will give you the right of way when you're on two wheels even if they don't have to and will evenn move out of your way if you're on a bike.

Portugal is currently a socialist country, which means it has its financial institutions and the like bullying and ripping off their own people. It seems to be only good for tourists. Even when current socialist government try to attract their millions of emigrants back to Portugal, it fails.

I'm under three minutes in and I've learned that in Portugal they speak Portuguese, if you need money you can go to banks or ATM's and they have breakfast in the morning.
