I despise Ohare, LAX, either of the NYC airports. ATL is our preferred node when heading back to the US.
Abroad, Santiago, Chile might be my least favorite. Lived in Bogota for three years. there is a reason why El Dorado pretty much annually win the best airport in SA. Only complaint there is the volume of the PA announcements are basically somewhere between attending a High on Fire concert and standing next to a speaker stack and Krakatoa. Both local and int'l are comfy, have decent (and decently priced) dining options. Hell, even have a couple PS4 displays so kids can be entertained.
GRU in Sao Paolo is my most Bipolar airport. Int'l wing has some decent eats and even some fine Brazilian craft beer. Local flights less so. And int'l connections not only guarantee I'll hit my 10k steps on my fitbit, but will also require a cerveja or two to de-stress once where I need to be.

Would love for you guys to come to a tiny little village in the north east of Scotland called Burghead, specifically January 11th! It's an old tradition not many towns celebrate now called the Burning of the Clavie. It's incredible how many people can fit into this little town for that 1 night of the year and we get people from far and wide. It really is a great night to experience and my 2 young boys love it also! You can Google Burning of the Clavie Burghead for more details plus winter in Scotland is just beautiful (cold but beautiful lol) while I'm here I'd also like to say I love your vids and they've really helped me out on my many travels so thank you!

You should visit Philadelphia. It's a very cool city with lots of history. also, you need to experience the Reading Terminal Market at least once during your trip. There is Lots of food to choose from. Not to mention Independence Hall and all the nearby historic sites. The Macy in Center City is one of a kind with a 28, 000 pipe organ and a Christmas Light show during the holidays. If you visit Macy's during the holiday season and see the light show, go to the noon one. The finale actually ends with the live organ, while the other ones have a recording of the organ. The organ is not played on Sundays though. A must see city!

Singapore - chunky airport is my favorite in the world.
Minneapolis/st Paul airport is really good.
I hate ohare and jfk airport.
I hate any airport in France.
Amsterdam airport is gppd.
South Korea Seoul has the most beautiful airport but is the most difficult airport to use.
Bangkok thailand airport is fine
Heathrow is fine.
Edinburough Scotland is fine
Barcelona Spain- fine.
Dhaka City bangladesh- chaotic and stressful
Kuala Lumpur Malaysia - very good customer service and nice experience.
Noriega japan is beautiful but was a bit challenging sometimes.

Two Comments: You asked about suggestions on places to visit next year, Have you considered Lisieux, France, where the Carmelite Nun St Therese lived and died? I don't know if you have considered such a visit to a Religious Place. Anyway, my suggestion. Second: your family seems so very interesting and of course well-traveled, have you considered taking with you a Group Tour? Not a large group, perhaps 15 to 20 people? I really like and appreciate your travel videos on tips, ideas, and the recommendations. Take care.

OHare is so dated for a major citys international airport. It looks like the last time they had any remodelling was late 80s. You can tell if you watch Home Alone, it looks exactly the same!
Terminal 5 has always been kind of dirty every time Ive been through, especially the bathrooms.
I shouldnt complain to much being from Milwaukee, General Mitchell isnt much better. I now live in the U. K. and every European airport Ive been to have outclassed OHare.

why are there no non stop flights to from toronto to: florence, naples, leipzig, dresden, nuremberg, pesaro, bergamo, busseto, busseto, cambodia, vietnam, laos, burma, ? how do you like small town, ? if you go to small villages go to actually visit, not save money, base for large city. have you done any central asia, africa, south america, less well known europe?

Hi Mark, one country I'm surprised you haven't visited yet is South Korea! I spent a total of 3 and a half years there and there is a TON of history and culture to explore. They have a wonderful (in my opinion) transportation system, and I think your family would have a great time there. Incheon Airport is probably one of the best airports I've ever flown in to.

Many nights at Houston Hobby (aka Bush)--if I don't spend the night though it's okay. I hate LaGuardia, Las Vegas (noise. Albuquerque is beautiful. Lots of art and nice and small to get around. How about Iceland? In the US, have you been to the Southwest--NM and Arizona. Go in the fall or maybe winter, not summer or spring. You should go to Maine.

My favorite airport is MDW and I use a Groupon for parking. When I fly out of ORD I take an Uber or have a family member drop me off, because the parking is expensive. But I guess Im lucky because I enjoy flying out of ORD. Sorry some of you guys had bad experiences there.
