I love traveling too (I love Paris, Belgium, Montreal, Caribbean, coastal US cities) but it ain't free and stocks are one way to make money.
, AMAZON:
Yep, I bought a ton on the dip. It's getting cheaper relative to its current earnings (half compared to last year.
Amazon invested $14 billion in the last quarter alone, the same as it spent in 6 months before that. It is a do not sell stock.
. With the Delta virus coming at full speed ahead, pandemic sales will make a comeback.
Amazon is investing so much money, that no competitor will ever be able to catch up.
Amazon's not going anywhere so I know that eventually it will come back.
Fidelity considers Amazon as a large growth company (probably because as big as it is, it still only has 7% of the retail market)
buying via Amazon Smile donations donates some money to my favorite charity too!
Get on board or be runover, it's up to you.

What I ate and enjoyed:
- Mussels
- Fries
- Bitterballen
- Stroopwafel
- Waffles
- Icecream
- Chocolate
- Had fantastic lasagna at the spot near the Delirium pub but can't recall the name
- Beer. beer and did I mention BEER! :-)
The steak houses and more formal (fancy) restaurants were a bit. meh. The interesting side dishes tended to be the star of the show while the main meat seemed to be somewhat of an after thought. My best experiences were at smaller restaurants/cafes.

You have to try everything from Trappist beers to La Chouffe and Duvel. I loved the mussels, and the fries were exactly what I expected. I went from Antwerp, Ghent, to Bruges then I went to Brussels and Namur. My great great grandma was from Namur and it was amazing to visit The Citadel and the tours. The food in Namur was amazing

The Belgian waffles you can buy on the street used to be without toppings. Most Belgians still prefer them that way (they are sweet enough. I like them hen they are still a bit doughy inside. Sometimes they prebake a few (for the busy moments) and warm them up when you ask them, but this way they taste less well.

I wish I could have gone to Belgium with you guys! I stayed with some pretty boring healthy dog sport people that didn't drink and did not expose me to anything yummy. I begged the wife to take me to a chocolate shop so I could bring home some. But I didn't have waffles or anything like that.

What not to do in Belgium: if you visit the Dutch speaking part of Belgium, do not talk to locals in French. Unless you are French, Even though they are multi lingual, they will take offence. In Flanders (Ghent, Brugges, Antwerp etc) Their second language is English.

I would have happily invited you to my hometown now that you are or were here
trust me when i say that the beauty of the Flanders region is not merely the medieval cities but also in the countryside, wallonia has the ardennes forest we have the fields and villas

Sorry but for mussles you go to the netherlands province of Zeeland. for the frites you go to belgium.
Even our belgian brothers say the the same thing. when we split up 200 years ago they took the frites and the dutch the mussles.

No paling in't groen (eel in green, Gentse waterzooi (Ghentish waterboil, or a million other things for that matter? :p
Also when in Bruges, I probably wouldn't be asking for moules frites, but rather mosselen met friet lol.
