10 Things NOT to do in LEBANON - Jacob Laukaitis Bchara: Hm. as a Lebanese i can voucher for 8 of the 10. Good sense of observation. As for the 8th one, i think you probably had the bad luck to meet the only crazy guy in lebanon who thinks cameras are guns - as for #10, there is actually a place in Odeissa where there is a recreational area just at the border where you can take all the pics you like of Israel. (And i suppose that also relativises #9: p)

Why dont you visit israel one time? There u can go to the border AND you can take pictures, I have been there once and it was cool, but in Israel you are at least allowed to say Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, whatever you want, you wont get punished, youre allowed to be a Lebanese there, unlike in Lebanon Jews arent allowed

I enjoyed this video but I just want to point out some things. 1) not all Lebanese people smoke. some of us really hate smoking and never even tried it, including me. 2) And about number 8, this old man seems to be confused or something, like no one in Lebanon, would actually think that a camera is a gun.

also number 8 isn't as common, but it can happen. My grandpa came to america for the first time when i was little, and was amazed by things like mailboxes. he literally waited by the mailbox for the mailman to come. that was one of my favourite stories of my grandpa.

Hundreds of check points? then why there is so much smuggling. I just saw a video where almost everything that is subsidized by the government is taken across to Syria and they use all kind of means like cars, bikes, trucks, horses.

french was mandatory when i was in school. i was in lebanon for my first half of 3rd grade, so i'm really good at pronouncing things. I can't speak arabic or french that well, but I'm really good at imitating the accent.

Such a well composed video. I am a foreigner in Lebanon and I agree with your comments about Israel. In my home we mention the neighbor to the South but it is forbidden to call them enemy.

Either he's a moron, thinks he's extremely priviledged or lying to be dramatic. Taking pictures of military bunkers in Lebanon. are you kidding me? SMH. I choose the ladder!

Funny that you showed Manara's roundabout in Zahle to illustrate people crossing the roads everywhere. My boyfriend forces me to walk across all the time
