I was an exchange student in Trondheim for one semester in 2014, it was the best time of my life! I met wonderful locals and students from all over the world, got the opportunity to do roadtrips and treks to see the amazing sceneries, got to see northern lights from my kitchen window, and ate moose and reindeer steak in a Xmas market. Also, researchers from the university won a Nobel Prize and i got to witness the celebrations, there was so much cake! Seeing this brings back all those memories and I want to visit Norway again: D

What time of the year were you there? Looks like summer to me but I thought theres no chance to see the northern lights during summer so Im a little confused right now: )

I will be solo traveling to Norway in May for 6 days, I have never been hiking but I'd love to! Other than what's in the video (which i will use for reference) do you have any other recommendations?

While not as impressive as many of the places here, the tiny village of Gjesvaer on Nordkapp is absolutely wonderful. The scenery is incredible and it's only a 40 minute drive from Nordkapp itself

Men the similarities btw Norway and New Zealand unbelievable. They look both countrys the same however Norway have big mountains were in nz not alot.
