Im from London born and raised where Ive spent longer than anywhere and I dont know what you see in it to make you wanna keep going back unless you love fried chicken. my favourite city to be is Copenhagen where I spent the longest outside Britain since I moved there in 2012. Im currently in Munich now for the first time in a work project and I have to say Munich too is an awesome city probably the most peaceful and very different when it comes to quality with its high end luxury and open space. I dont know what you see in London. I paused on the London part as I comment before I see the rest. My favourite cities are Copenhagen, Oslo, Bergen, all the cities of Switzerland, Munich most definitely, Vienna and Monaco. London is nothing like the rest of Europe, all the crime there Im surprised hasnt put you off including Police harassing whoever they can not just in London but throughout Britain.

Great list again Ryan.
From your list, I have visited Positano, Lisbon, Barcelona, and Athens. I would have added Rome, Seville, Florence, Madrid, Valletta, Venice and Istanbul (all the main sites are on the European side) because they are beautiful cities. I have excluded London as I am from the UK, worked in London for years and know it inside out - and I agree London has everything to offer. Many people love Paris but I'm not a fan of it.

One best word for big Asian cities- High-Tech
One best word for big European cities- Magical. I live in Asia but if I get the chance to visit cities, I would go to the magical ones.

Having visited all these cities these are not the ones I would recommend for someone who had never been to Europe. Only London is a must for first time visitors.
