El Paso, Texas is a city on the western side of the state right on the US-Mexico border. The is full of history due to its location on the Rio Grande and it is a fun place to explore. My dad and I spent few days there and visited as much as we could. Here are some of our favorite restaurants, drives, museums, and places to explore in the city

One of my fave destinations in TX. Been to LJ's, Chico's (once is enough, the Mission Trail, Rim Road, Chamizal even Mesilla. First visited EP in 1988 and am still traveling there to this day. So much history, beautiful vistas, good food, and colorful art. EP at night, especially with the lights of Juarez a constant presence, is a sight to see. It's worth the extra day.

Around Halloween you can take a tour through El Paso Highschool. El Paso High is one of the most haunted schools in the U. S. The story that is told the most out of all of them is about a cheerleader that took her own life from the top floor of the school said to still be haunting people to date.

As an EP native, skip Chicos, way better locally owned restaurants in town, the food scene has really leveled up!
Also just like Las Cruces and Old Mesilla are worth the time, Juarez is too! Specially Kentucky Club, which is literally at a walking distance from a border crossing bridge

El Paso Texas was a nice city to visit on my first trip to Texas. The only thing I did not like is that it was still far away from Dallas and San Antonio and even more far from Houston and the Louisiana state line border

12th not so controversial thing to is to play Dodge Cars. It's where you dodge all the other bad drivers here in an attempt to stay alive anytime you are on the roadway.
