I booked this Merida, Mexico apartment on Airbnb- February 2018 Price - I paid $67. 30 per night During our trip to Mexico City, I chose to rent an apartment from Airbnb in the Roma Norte district of the city. It made a great base, close to the center of the city, yet in a nice relaxing area of the city. In this video, I'm taking you on a full tour of our apartment in Roma Norte, Mexico City. Roma Norte has a very European feel to it, and you'll find all sorts of accommodation from newly built apartments, to older apartments like this. But I loved the old charm, the wooden floors, and the location

$67 is absurd to be paying in about any part of Mexico while knowing I can get a perfectly ok hotel for $15 a night and rent an whole modern, updated, safe and kept apartment to myself on AirBnB for $30 and much cheaper when you look for it. I love the video but others should know you can save much much more in Mexico. Dont forget that they are a third world country, no need to spend more than you need to. or i really should say to not get charged more than what the situation is actually worth.

Hi Mark. I noticed that you were wearing a wireless microphone receiver on your pants during a couple of the scenes. I was wondering what brand you use and if you are really happy with it. I'm not a vlogger but I do videos for businesses and people where sometime we are required to be outside. I get a lot of wind noise and was wondering if you can suggest a brand and model that will help me eliminate background or wind noise from the videos. Thanks in advance for you help.

Mark, I love your videos. I used to travel to Mexico City at least twice a year and watching this Mexico City series took me right back. Every single place you visit and eat at are the most accurate experiences one will actually have visiting that huge city. You are so respectful and open minded to each person or food you come across in your travels. Thank you so much for inspiring me to visit Mexico City again soon and safe travels to you and your family!

Nice video, nice apartment. I think the price you are paying is a little bit high. I wonder if you are getting higher prices because you are a foreigner. Monthly your per day cost would be like $2, 000 dollars. The average cost of a fully furnished apartment in that neighborhood is like $1, 000 to $1, 500. Unfurnished is like $700-$1, 000.

I just started watching your videos and its awesome to see different parts of the world. Thank you. Have you thought about traveling to the Dominican Republic? It's beautiful and the culture is amazing. We go twice a year to my in-laws house and we travel all over. It's an experience I look forward to every time.

Of all the places to rent in MEX I think you made a really bad choice! No elevator, high price, decrepit building and hardly any natural light. I say this because know MEX very well. There are so many better deals than the one you chose.

Mark:
You must go to hidalgo, more specific Apan, Hidalgo to find the way people make the truth drink from the gods - pulque- and the way it is made as an artisan beauty. Deffinetly mexico's legacy
