I grow up about 60 miles from Munising. We did that backback trip 35 yrs ago. Then in my eairly 20's I work for a Builder, we built a log home on the Grand Marais Bay almost across from the breakwater. Been almost 30 years ago the last time I was out that way. Glad to see people still enjoying the Picture Rocks backing packing. Great Video.

The musical interlude you did at 33: 32 was absolutely brilliant. It is without question the best music I have yet to see you do. The piano was amazing. The lakes waves, the sun and the clouds, the mood, it was all unbelievable. Really, really moving. Just brilliant.

-38: 46 What a mystery. On one of our hikes, we came across an old rusty vehicle. It sat right in the middle of the woods. Kind of creepy, actually. And the vehicle looked European. It was rusty and worn just like this one in your video.

Here's a remedy for back, leg & foot pain just take and boil some cedar needle like leafs n put the water on the effected area! Willow is another pain reliever and is good to drink willow tea! I enjoy watching your adventures!

Headed that way this Thursday, the weather is beautiful and the Autumn colors at their best in 2020! So glad to get the feel of the area again, worked on Isle Royale one summer in the Student Conservation Corp.

What a beneficial hike, I think I gained 3 lbs. watching this entire 42 mile hike, and every time you stoped and ate so did I. I need to get a life, haha, such a great pleasure watching your videos, thanks.

I'm a Michigander, and this is the first year in a LONG time that I haven't made my way to the Superior Lake to hike. Thank you so much for the virtual trip along my favorite Lake.

Didi thi hike as a camp counselor leading 20 16yos many years ago, though we went from Munising to Grand Marais- it is one of the great (and easy) trails in the US. A super hike.
