Go to to get a 2-year plan plus 4 additional months with a huge discount! In this episode, you will see the real Africa. This is an adventure road trip through Namibia. We will spend the night in a tent on the roof of an off-road vehicle, meet wild animals along the way, and also see abandoned cities that have been invaded by the desert. Laura: found out about Namibia when I watched a movie about a plane crash on the Mongol/China border. When I got to the credits I found out that it was filmed in Namibia. That surprised me and I looked it up. Your shots of the desert dunes were better than the movies.

Better safaris in Kenya/ Tanzania? AFAIK they don't allow you to drive yourself there. OTOH that means you have to go with a guide, and guides can find you things you'd have never found yourself, but it takes away that feeling of being more explorer than tourist that you get for making your own mistakes. (I'd say a combination of own exploration and guided sightseeing is probably ideal. If you manage to do the guided stuff on foot, all the better. It's a total experience, not a list of -sightings to score-. It's the bush, the smell of the bush, the insects and birds, the presence of a whole ecosystem that makes it more than a zoo visit)
You should visit wild Africa again one day? (Once is not enough. Well not for me, anyway. I keep going back to the parks. It's the same but always different. A glimpse into a world of long ago as much as anything else. Into a world that might not make it to the end)
Maybe you're talking of the East African big migrations? Now that would be a thing to see.

The Traveler/Colonizer had no mask on. Just goes to show that they have not learned from there history of spreading diseases, making us The real Inheritors minority in our own lands(germ warfare) originally spreading diseases in Europe making ORIGINAL PEOPLES MINORITY! Later spreading diseases WORLDWIDE as they enforced The New Religion. In America more than half the ORIGINAL POPULATION DIED. King Charles feared that we in America would be wiped off the map from whites diseases! And since the new inheritors of lands Named OUR ANCIENT BLACK FATHERS will not tell true history, I will! Africans still don-t understand that Blacks were the first Europeans. Because of lies taught!

The voice over was cringe. not the narrator's voice, just the fact that you used a voice over actor instead of just doing it yourself. You should learn to be more accepting of who you are and care less about what other people think. I take it this was done so that it would be more appealing to English (North American for the most part) speaking people. Being one, I can tell you that most of us don't have a problem, and even enjoy the variety, with people speaking English with an accent. Maybe something to think about in the future. It would also help the audience connect with you because using your own voice is more personal.

This video is nicely done, but I-ll say this: there aren-t lots of wild animals in -Africa- and it is not an -African- sunset. 12: 54
Your description also says: in this episode, you will see the real Africa.
What does -the real Africa- even mean?
Someone who-s yet to visit the continent might see this one video and think that all of Africa is a place enveloped by wild animals, or there-s a specific type of sunset you-ll experience here when, in reality, there are so many countries here, all of them geographically different.
At the very least, update your description.

I enjoyed the beautiful tour and vlog, but I felt some of the comments referring to race and wealth were just reinforcing negative stereotypes- you spoke from a very -white washed- perspective like white is right- you may have not even realized it. A place being colonized doesn-t make it better or rich - English speaking doesn-t make it better- languages foreign to you are not limited to nomadic tribes. If you talk about why areas are predominantly European and wealthy then you should explain the reasons those disparities came about.

Many of the roads I explored in Namibia 25 years ago were paved with salt. There were holes located beside the roads at intervals which could have pumped salt water onto the road or perhaps the salt was trucked from the salt mine at Walvis Bay. I wonder why you did not notice the salt on the dirt roads. Perhaps you did and just did not mention the salt in your video.

Hey thanks for the video I worked in Namibia in 1990 with UN and helped with its independence. Looks like the animal life has increased and I would say the environment is something to experience the sunsets etc are fantastic. Did you go to swakamund thanks again
