Who is the mate Tom and why didn't you just take the blue Metro from Gard du Nord the other way toward Chatelet, correspond to the 6 light green line and exit at Bir-Hekeim, the elevated Metro station that's spitting distance from the Champs du Mars and the Eiffel Tower? It's my preferred way of getting there, provides a nice little above-ground ride either across the river or through the city, and beats T F out of ANYTHING you do on the clumsy, unattractive RER. Recommendations from Alabama, and that's an odd reference indeed. Great stuff you post. Love the 24 hours in Qsuites, but leave the bear in SFO (or ship him, and def quit traveling with the doofus comedian flier with all the queer gestures. Not asking much, am I? Southerners are a little bossy, in fact. Cheers.

Enjoyed this video (and the marrakech video. I'm trying to sort out a day trip to somewhere outside the UK. Any advice on where to go that is cheap and cheerful?
