Here are my recommendations for those people visiting Las Vegas for the first time (note that not all of these are open at this time due to the COVID 19 crisis):
1) Go see The Mirage volcano free show at night. The Belaggio also has a free fountain show at night.
2) Head downtown to Freemont Street to see The Freemont Street Experience at night. This is a giant light show projected on a huge overhead canopy.
3) Go to Casino Royale and play some cheap craps. They have lower limits than many other strip casinos. Also try the 2 foot long hot dogs. Pretty good for 2.
4) The High Roller - this is a giant ferris wheel with good views of the city. Views are better at night.
5) Take a walk through The Luxor. This a giant pyramid shaped hotel and casino. Pretty impressive to see from inside or out.
6) Once the Cosmopolitan Hotel in City Center re-opens, have a drink at The Vesper Bar. Not cheap, but a nice place to chill.
7) Frankie's Tiki Room - a cool Tiki bar located off the strip.
8) Once shows re-open in Vegas go see the Penn & Teller magic show at the Rio Hotel. Also try the Carrot Top show at the Luxor.
9) The Laugh Factory Comedy Club inside the Tropicana Hotel. Not open yet. Pretty decent shows for not too much money. We saw a show here with 3 or 4 comedians for about 50.
10) Have a drink at The Tilted Kilt Pub (located near The LINQ.
11) Take a gondola ride at the Venetian Hotel. Enjoy!

Ok the video didn't exactly show what to do for activities lol.
Las Vegas is a little overrated, not a place to live but just to go cause everyone wants to see the hype but don't gamble, the casino always wins.
