Santiago does not have the old charme of Buenos Aires or Montevideo. Santiago appears more to be a very modern city. For sure it's the safest, cleanest and best organized city in Latin America. I always like to be there, mostly I stay in Las Condes or Vitacura.

This city looks underrated. it is gorgeous. I just saw the picture that there were snow capped mountains like Calgary with the famous Rockies an hour and half drive. Chile will be on the bucket list.

Pinochet did nothing wrong. Hes saved Chile from becoming a Marxist totalitarian shithole. Santiago wouldnt look like what it does today if it werent for him.

The east of the city is a rich area but it's also up against the pre-Andes so it traps the polluted air. Life's little ironies.

Chile is the most beautiful and diverse country on Earth! It has more variety than Canada, Russia and Australia combined!
