I am shocked to see how beautiful Sopot is now. I was there in 1960 when there was nothing there, none of those buildings and hotels. It was a depressing cold place in August. I was part of a summer camp for Polish children living abroad. The idea was for us to see Poland and how wonderful it was during communist times. Coming from England I was shocked at how backward it was.
We actually walked along the pier, there were no buildings on it and very few people. How times have changed and life improved for the Polish. I am actually Anglo Polish now living in Spain. Really like your informative videos. Un abrazo desde Valencia.
