I don't think I've ever missed a flight due to my own mistakes, only airline mistakes. I've had my bags not arrive multiple times though. My family lives in Colombia and we always connect through Panama but it's usually only an hour layover so during holiday season the airport is so busy that our bags don't make it, and since we are always on the last flight our bags don't arrive until the next morning. I've learned to pack whatever I may need for the night in my carry on just in case: )
I've also spent a lot of time in the Charlotte airport when I lived in Kentucky and had to connect through there. My one bad experience was when they changed our departing gate last minute and we had to run across the airport. They were about to close the boarding door when we arrived, but thankfully we made it on.

Hello from PA. I just starting watching your videos, so I am alittle behind. We got stuck overnight too in the Charlotte airport, they canceled our flight due to mechanical problems and there were no more flights out that night. Next flight for us wasn't until 10 am the next day. They gave us food vouchers to use, but no hotels were available, Nascar was in town, some big race weekend, so they said. So we too slept on the floor, it was the longest night and day of our lives. never again. I heard horror stories about that Charlotte airport!

Me and My Dad, own a family owned company call Father and Son Builders, we have built Taylor Swifts house, Justin Timberlake, and we fly every single week and i had a basketball game and we won but, we missed our flight to LA. United told us there was no way we would get on a flight because it was the holidays and we had to meet a last minute client, (my dad helps build, and i-m a real great designer. We missed, our flight that night and lost our client.

I remember two years ago on spring break we missed our flight in San Francisco trying to fly back to Atlanta and it was completely not our faults because their was a felt and a complete asshole checking people onto the plane. They put us on a completely different flight pattern. took about 6 hours longer than nessicary and me and my famliy didn't sleep for the entire night

It's funny, the 2. 30am check in and that man in the background is dead to the world, then 3 hours later we see him and he hasn't moved a muscle. You sure he was actually alive? I hate people that can just sleep deep in the most uncomfortable of positions, I could only dream of that.

I freaking love these 2. They show the really great and the aggravating side of traveling, they are super real and I fully enjoy watching their travels. Watching them on their van life tour it has prompted me to want to take my son and do this. Thank you for all you guys do \o/.

Ooh super creepy. Kara can't speak if it's negative? I wonder what would happen if she ever said no? She's still in the frame of mind that the terror he puts her through (glacier, for 1) is pushing her out of her comfort zone. Wonder what 45 will look like for her.

I lowkey wanna get global entry cause it comes with precheck and I generally travel internationally 1-2 times a year but since DFW is my home airport and we have the kisok like global entry for all US citizens it doesn't make sense cause theres hardly a line

Omg we once missed a flight because of a delay in LA and got to Hong Kong after our connecting flight and had to stay the night there cause it was the last flight out! Guys thanks for always moving forward, trust me I know how ya feel
