Nemrut Da (Mount Nemrut) is a mountain in Southeastern Anatolia, Turkey. On the top of the mountain is one of the most fascinating sites in Turkey - the funerary mound of Antiochus I who ruled the Greco-Persian kingdom of Commagene in the 1st century BCE. The famous large statues of the king and various Greek and Persian gods surround a 50-meter-high burial mound on the summit, where the archeologists have been looking for the royal tomb, but it has never been found. The statues sit on two terraces, their heads toppled from the bodies in ancient earthquakes. The video shows the Eastern Terrace at sunrise and the Western Terrace at sunset. Leo: Beautiful sunrise, beautiful sunset, beautiful stone carvings, strange gravel landform, no grass but an amazing place Earthquake in Turkey is heartbreaking

I felt the sacredness of this place, which must be at a considerable altitude where the sunrise and sunset are beautiful, and built the tomb of Antiochus I. I thought that the heart of human beings has not changed between ancient times and today.
And people love the sun in this place too

I wonder if that place got tore up by that horrible earthquake activity from the other day?
Pray for the people in Turkey and also Syria.

The whole place looks artificial and carefully recreated as a tourist attraction. The Video itself is magnificent as always.
