for affordable japanese try afloat sushi in pasadena by lake and colorado and sit by the carousel, the sushi plates are on top of a boat, if u like meats go for brazilian at fogo de chao by robertson and wilshire, it's all u can eat with a salad bar, cheaper on weekday lunches, for the best chinese i go to full house in chinatown, my go to thai restaurant is sanamluang by hollywood and normandie, italian i like macaroni grill in burbank, for korean barbecue it's chong woo by melrose and santa monica, for hotdogs pink's by melrose and la brea though the mexican street vendors make a great sandwich with a huge serving of grilled onions and peppers mostly found in downtown los angeles, for upscale dining yamashiro and spago's, luxe by the beverly center serves really good breakfast, on the cheap but good is norm's or spires, for late night dining head to denny's, with a great pie with your entree there's coco's, marie callendar's or baker's square.
