Go-arounds are indeed good fun - and rare; in my 600+ sectors as pax I only remember a couple, of which the most fun was a flight from Goa to Manchester in late 1996, aboard a BritCal L-1011. Crew informed us that we'd been held at/below FL200 over Saudi due to military exercises so we were below fuel minima entering Europe. cue a technical stop at BRX. First go-around was fun - especially in that old girl. Second go-around. suddenly had seasoned travelers peering keenly through our windows. Plain sailing after landing on the 3rd approach, but did wonderfully concentrate the mind!
My final comment's about pink/purple neon lighting. back in my day, it signaled either a knocking shop, and/or a place were patrons should be discouraged from precisely locating their own vasculature. Am curious at what point it morphed into representing fashionable, upscale travel.

Just wanted to say that I just became a fan of your videos. I happened accross you videos about a month ago (April 2023) and I find them informative and entertaining. As some have commented, it would be nice to see some content on some of the places you visit. My only trip outside of North American happened over 20 years ago when I took a business trip to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was an eye opening experience to experience the different culture(s. I flew United then British Airways from IAD -> LHR -> BAH -> RUH. The little segment between BAH and RUH was on Saudia. Then two weeks later I flew back by way of London. The neat part of that trip was flying on the upper deck of a 747 between DC and London both ways (and of course the two weeks in Riyadh was a neat experience too. One question for you: How many countries have you visited in your travels?

You've taken us to places we'll never go to - some we've no desire to see. We started watching your episode of traveling across the US on a Greyhound. I don't think you were trying to be funny but some of your observations had us laughing out load pushing the rewind button. I'm sorry your experience was so miserable but, in true British fashion, you made the best of it. It's obvious you put your heart and soul into your presentations. We sped down the runway for what seemed like an age before the port wheel touched down and the pilot could start slowing it down. I bet you get plenty of moments like that.

Love the videos Noel! Have you attempted to get yourself a flight on a Royal Air Force Voyager flight from Brize Norton to Cyprus/Falklands etc? I'm sure they would be up for it! It would be an interesting insight for civilians to see how the RAF get people to and from exercises and operations, they may even treat you to a stay at the gateway hotel at Brize!

question. we flew to germany about 10 years a go and i got horribly air sick and the server said once you get air sick you will continue to get sick every time you fly i have not flown since do you find that to be true?

Yeah, I don't mind economy class videos but like, I know what economy class is like, I can and have experienced it myself whereas business isn't very attainable for me so seeing it is like a little treat for me.

We had a go around in Frankfurt from Graz. it feels strange suddenly you just get that climb feeling. In our case it seems another aircraft did not clear the runaway in time.
