Ahh this would be the only way id travel if they were avilable here in the UK that so much nicer than being trapped with person who doesnt understand what soap is or the term personal space. I get airlines have to sell out the craft and pack everyone in like sardines but being treated like cattle is not my idea of fun. That plane have your own seat and personal space with just carry on luggauage only way to fly.

It looks like fun. Most people don't realize it but when you get farther north you really do see a lot more of these small and regional planes. So having to gone up to Alaska and Canada a bit you don't think much of it. But does seem odd to get these flights down in the lower 50 states. Definitely looks like the way to go over the major airports. They make travel as unenjoyable as possible.

It's so wild to see a Cessna Caravan taking off out of DFW. I've replicated the experience numerous times in X-plane with a Cessna Skyhawk, and have--in real life--taken off and landed a million times at DFW (always in nothing smaller than an Embraer 145, so to see a real tiny airplane take off from one of the largest airports on the planet is hilarious. Thanks for the vid!

Nohad a terrible experience on 6 seater small aircraft. never againboth pilots looked around 16. didnt speak English and I was transporting a patient from city to citythe turbulence was so bad which was what we were trying to avoid should just have gone by ambulance. pilots didnt know anything about oxygen tanks on board. they were empty. Yup typical nightmare.

On a flight from Honolulu to Kauai many years ago, on mokukele airlines, I happened to sit next to the owner of the airline! He lived on Kauai but the head office was on Oahu. Fascinating stories about how he got into the airline industry and the logistics of getting planes to Hawaii that had nowhere near enough range to perform the flight normally

That type of plane is a puddle jumper and yes I have flown something similar - more than 50 years ago, from Modesto to San Diego. I was a kid (pre-teen) and got onboard, sat, and I gawked out the window for the flight. Fun. Your flight was a bit smaller than a Short Skyvan I took to go from Athens to Mykonos. And yes, I would take such a flight.

Hot Springs is a lovely place. It started as a tourist destination because of the hot springs, which are still in use today. There is also a national park there. You should go back for a visit sometime. I am not fond of single-engine aircraft, so I would prefer not to fly this lovely airline. The views are unbeatable, though.

Little known doesn't necessarily mean bad, my friend.
Look at Logan Air in the UK, I bet that at least 85% of the world's commercial flight customers have ever heard of them but you can't really fault them, especially not with a Tunnocks caramel wafer every time you take off!

Totally interesting! Sort of a Greyhound/Trailways for air travel. The opening scenes in Dallas/FW certainly were different from what I experienced in that giant airport. That was such human scale, personal service. I'm going to check into this kind of flying for future travel.

When I used to fly for silver airways we did a lot of essential service flying in the Saab. ATL MSL, ATL PIB, ATL TUP, TUP GLH, ATL MEI. The Saab was definitely a bit more comfy, but not by much. Wonder what the future of these flights hold with a lack of pilots to fly them.

Sure would fly with them. Only problem they don't fly anywhere close to me. (Midwest - IL / IA border area) Hope you tried the 'dry' ribs downtown at the Charlie Vergos' Rendezvous BBQ. Down the alley from the Peabody Hotel.

Glad to see they are still in business. they started service between my local airport (PSP) and LAX but it didn't last very long. It's a shame because you could get to LA in like 30 minutes for something like 90 dollars

Yes, I would. I love small planes. I did a little flying(with instructors and solo) in my youth and also flew in my dad's company plane in Kenya. more fun than big planes. And you get to see so much more!

Awesome video. One small correction, Noel: Nashville is most commonly referred to as Music City. Memphis, although rich in history with Blues and Jazz, is more accurately called Bluff City.

Living on Maui I fly Mokulele all the time, on these same model Cessnas. They even let our 185lb great dane fly on it for free! (My wife and him sit on the back bench seat. Great stuff!

I feel that you were very fortunate to catch these segments in good weather. I might do it under the same conditions. But IFR dodging thunderstorms in that bolt bucket? No freaking way.

I live in Houston and never knew this airline existed. That would be fun to fly in nice weather, but I would not want to fly in the clouds the whole way with turbulence.
