Looks like you had fun BUT you were recognised so obviously given the preferential treatment other passengers aren't afforded.
As someone who hasn't flown since 1992 (holiday to Benidorm) something bothers me. For weight and balance purposes they left the 1st Officer behind! I'd sort of worry about that. Maybe I've watched Airplane! a few more times than I should but what if. Noel, I know you're a pilot but for Boutique Air to bump the person who could take over in an emergency. was that wise. You, effectively then was their only hope in a crisis, no inflatable officer on that flight.
And, of course, by sitting you up front you're going to be like a dog with two tails but it's not realistic when it comes to reviews is it.
At least, this time you reached your destination. About time too the CEO made good his offer. Words are meaningless until the cash hits the bank.

In a previous video on Boutique Air, one of the ex-pilots gave us an insight into the airline, who are clearly penny-pinching asset strippers. The staff and pilots are far too good for the people who own the company. I once had a contractor who was made of the same material. He owned the company and employed others to do all the work. He came in now and then but was mostly on the golf course by 10 in the morning. I sense something like that is going on with Boutique Air. I will never fly with them, nor will anyone I know. It's a pity because if they were run properly, their people were treated right and they had a good customer service system, they have a nice product to offer.

Noel, I can't help but notice that wedding ring on your finger. A challenge: London to Tampa and a drive to the House of Mouse with the missus. My reasoning is that everybody coming in from the UK and his grandmother flies into MCO (Orlando's airport) but ignores the existence of Tampa nor do they know how to take the backroads to Disney World from Tampa. It might be worth it to find the road less traveled to Disney.
That, and you have never tried to rent a car in any of your videos.
So whaddya say? Last one to the tiki bar is a rotten egg!

I'm a former employee to United ground Express. I can tell you The Sunport has issues with safety, so much so that the FAA came in to investigate the company and even forced employees off that were obsessively written up. I can tell you tho that Boutique Air does have a good record out here in Albuquerque. They have had a issue where a plane had problems and the Military fire brigade came in to escort the plane. Thankfully nothing to bad. Yes the military fire crew come because AFR dont have a facility and we share with Kirkland AFB.

I have a theory. they ditched the First Officer back in Carlsbad originally as they saw your name on the flight manifest for the ABQ leg and decided that they didn't want to risk another hammering on their PR side of things, so the vice president asked specially for you to ride up front to turn that review into a positive one - nowt to do with weight and balance, that's all a handy excuse when flying a plane!

Great video Noel! I took this plane from ABQ to Denver via a small mountain town in Colorado a few years ago. I had no idea I had booked a tiny plane and spent ten minutes wandering around the airport looking for my flight! When I finally found the hand drawn sign 'Boutique Air' stuck on a wall and saw the plane I wasn't sure I could on a plane that small! I had a great experience with them.

I had the privilege of sitting in the right seat on San Juan Airlines from SEA to Bremerton, Wa in 1979 and 1980 a few times. The only problem was the flight wasn't long enough - about 20 minutes as I recall across the Sound in a Cessna I think it was. Forty plus years tends to dulls one's memory a bit.

You lucked out! Three failed Boutique flights. Refused refunds always. The best I ever did with them was once after stranding me at DFW for three extra days (THEIR fault, offered to pay the difference between my Boutique fare and the AA fare I was forced to book at the last minute. I am DONE with Boutique!

Oh, you should have stopped for a day in Carlsbad. Carlsbad Caverns (hence the airport name) are SPECTACULAR and so much worth visiting -- to the extent that when we did a road trip from Las Vegas to Dallas, we basically centered the trip around going there! But great video!

That's another complaint I had with the two companies I mentioned previously (last Boutique Air video): telling you they'd do something for you and then utterly failing to come through. I'll keep Boutique Air on my do-not-fly list.
Nice video, Noel, thank you.

I thought they didn't allow people in the pilot cabins anymore after 9/11? or are smaller flights less stringent with the rules? Not trying to hate or start anything, I'm just generally confused because I heard they were super cautious nowadays.

I'm flying them home from Boston--UA DCA-EWR-BOS, Boutique BOS-MSS-BWI on a UA booking. I thought I'd be able to rack up MileagePlus miles on Boutique but won't because of a fare class technicality. Anyway, I'm actually looking forward to it.

Offering you a refund of the expenses you had garnered is nice, but not following through is still just a hollow offering. I can offer you $100million dollars as a patreon donation, but not following through makes the original offer pointless.

Love your critique of Boutique Air. Their service sounds dismal. Flying in the copilot seat is cool. Did they offer you the seat for a better review? They should know better. You look quite happy in the front with the pilot. What a treat.

Late watching this video, when I heard Albuquerque I thought your in my state. Then I heard Carlsbad and thought he was in my city for a few. Glad it wasnt one of the ridiculous windy days weve been having here the last two weeks.

Love your videos, Noel. Got a tip for you. My favourite trip in Norway is between BOO and VRY in the Northern part of Norway. That heli route is amazing in good weather. Keep up the good work. Cheers from Norway.

I understand why you really want to love the airline. Just regard them as an Italian car: Won't always get you where you're supposed to be, but being very charming not getting there in the process.

Seems like Boutique Air was on damage control. I still wouldn't trust them. I can assure you that they went right back to ripping off customers. How do I know this? It's called life experience.
