In indonesia basically more 1. 000 volcanoes (Active and unactive, on land and underwater sea, if total with mount in Indonesia = +1. 500 - 2. 000 (Total Volcanoes + Mountains in Indonesia. Just imagine, near Mount Krakatoa there are more than 30 mount. What about the other? There are even volcanoes in Indonesia that are stacked on top of each other and also close together. Even when you visit Bromo, basically Bromo consists of 9 different mount. Because it's not only Bromo in background (Bromo, Batok, Widodaren, B29, Bukit Cinta, Watangan, Penanjakan and Kursi = 9 mount in 1 area Bromo National Park) Bromo is one of the mount which is surrounded by 9 different mount, if you head a little east (In 1 province same area) then you will see Mount Ijen which is surrounded by 40 different mount. Even mount in Indonesia have children or gender. If all the islands of Maluku, Maluku Utara and Sulawesi are combined, there will be more than 300 mount, even in Kalimantan there are more than 100 mount. In Sumatera (Barisan) more than 250 mount. In Papua more than 200 mount. In Jawa more than 200 mount. Nusa Tenggara Barat-Timur more than 150 mount. In underwater sea in Indonesia more 10.
Wherever you are in Indonesia basically you are surrounded by all the volcanoes + mountains in Indonesia (From west to east, In fact, many only know that on the island of Bali there are 3 mount or 4 mount, that's the wrong answer. The truth is that Bali Island has more than 28 mount.
You will get to know the original form of mount in Indonesia which are very different and even many of them are strange and unique close to each other. There are no typical mount in Indonesia that are the same from all sides because they have their own characteristics.

Example: The island of Bali actually has more than 500 lists of tourist attractions (overall. Even in Jakarta there are lots of tourist attractions where tourists can visit many islands called the -Kepulauan Seribu- just like the Riau Islands (Kepri) in Sumatra.
