I was there I had lovely time! - People were very friendly and I saw the deserts (it was extremely hot and dry in one of the deserts and very hot and humid but still somehow dry -) I saw Machu Picchu it was nice but it was so far away, the extremely high snow capped mountains, the extremely busy and noisy city of Lima, and on the other side very peaceful and quiet beautiful villages that you could roam around freely, and there were mountains everywhere!
