Idea, get a roll of bamboo fabric and pop revits and eyelet gun and large putty knifes and a hand pump garden presurized sprayer. Cut bamboo fabric and over fold over one side and place eyelet's and pop revits. Use cordless drill to drill hole's in the wood and use pop revits to attach the bamboo fabric to the outside. Then use Gorilla glue and use putty knife to force the glue into and onto the bamboo fabric. Repeat process covering the structure like shingle's. then ounce totally covered? Spray down with water activating the Gorilla glue that will foam up and harden. Glue will become tacky which will allow you to throw sand or dirt on it to camouflage the structure. The Gorilla glue will foam up and harden making a water tight insulsted structure. You could even use this method to cover a chicken wire dome on the inside then on the outside for a dome cabin.

the spade you asked about is the little knob sticking out at the top you push it in and it allows you to move it in to a few different configurations i. e. just a pick, just a spade or spade and pick acting together for digging small one foot or more trench for say the plastic pipe and the pick takes care of any rocks I found my one to be brilliant but never had one of them while I was in the forces. and I would pick the cabin to sleep in for I am now 58 years old, no brainer don't like the cold now a days, loved the bucking bronco show, reminds me of when my kids were younger, cant do it now as disabled, probably due to all the crazy stuff I did in my youth, grand kids still think I am mental, where's my kids know I am, lol thanks for all the video's looking forward to many more.

The World NEEDS more fathers like this. Good content that displays a real and fun relationship between a Son and his Dad. For those who were not so lucky, this is how Fathers can be. What I like is how the Son is on the verge of always laughing at his Dad's mannerisms and silly sayings and how the Dad has an attitude of I don't give a flying fck, so here weeeee go I relate to this because it's a really unique transition going from being You're my dad, protector, and leader by example as a kid to an adult which is Oh sht dad, what the bloody hell, hahaha. I finally GET you

so those shovels are called E-Tools, or Entrenching tools. they were military issue, the wooden handle was the ww1 model, which is likely why its heavy. the tri fold, is a later model. yes it is a pick axe, because your life relied on that folxhole. and the bad guy wont stop shooting if the dirt is too hard to dig. you might find out more about this kind of stuff from folks like. bloke on the range forgotton weapons in-Range tv or C&Rsenal

Can your dad come to America and do all his dad stuff with a group of American dads while I watch? It would be a riotAlso, I forgot to comment on the last video when you theoried with your wife about how social media is destructing our young people. I wanted to say that pretty soon the retired people will have to start renting themselves out to young people to help preserve our cultures. On that note--can I rent your dad?

Yes: I am back again Love the pallet wood cabin and the G-Stove. Some YouTubers mention the residual 'cold' that creeps into a sleep system and a shelter in the small hours of the morning. How does the G-Stove handle that in your set-up in your (less than dismal cold) climate? What a pleasure it is to watch you and Graeme prepare 'real food. '

Hi TA Outdoors, I am from the UK and would love to get involved in learning camping techniques such as making a fire and building a shelter. I am curious, where are you from? Do you do practical courses? How do I get involved in this? Your videos are very good and easy to follow. Thank you. Hope to hear from you.

The old school shovel has a pick ax attachment held with a locking ring and along with a shovel head could be used to dig a trench or a hole. My family and I picked up one at a military surplus store back in the late 1960's and carried it through the mid 1970's.
