SWISS Boeing B777 Business Class San Francisco to Zrich Nuno Soares: Not impressed with the United Club lounge. First of all, the folks who run that lounge could have relocated to a different space in the airport while they did the renovations/upgrades to the Polaris lounge. Second, the buffet area was dirty. You're right. Compared to the most mediocre asian lounge, the food, and cleanliness are better. Nice Swiss 777 (inside and out. Nice business class section. Very nice (and generous) amenity kit. Fantastic legroom: -D. The night view from the window seat is great and so is the aerial view. Obviously the airline cleaned the windows so your views are not obstructed. By the way. How did you find the shoulder belt. Did it obstruct your moving on the seat? Nice touch also with the seat controls and extra storage space Swiss. All the food, drinks, and desserts looked mouthwatering. Nice business class lavatory with tons of goodies. Nice bed. Looks comfy. Cool IFE with tons of choices. Loved the swiss greenery prior to your very soft landing. Awesome inflight report.

American airports are no better than those found in the UK or Africa, it's all about them spending the minimum and the passengers spending the most, mediocrity is celebrated wholesale, i have been lucky to spend time in the far east, they know how to look after their customers, nothing is left to chance, new airports, new aircraft, new thinking, it all adds up to the fact that the US and UK are languishing back in the 90's, they will never catch up, Heathrow and JFK are prime examples, terrible atmosphere, stressful all the time, Dubai - Doha - Changi are excellent, to name but three to shame us in the west.

Oh, I miss Switzerland so much. You ask why the seat belts on takeoff. Well, at the risk of rattling your nerves, I'll give you just 2 of many scenarios that could eject you from your seat. A very strong crosswind could strike the plane, jolting you or even tipping the plane part way over. Or, the landing gear struts could break, tossing your face at the screen or seat in front of you. There are more I could tell you, but not with your anxiety, lol. I'm loving watching your videos. I just found you recently and have been playing one after the other for a week or so

Hmmmm. I have the choice of flying Swiss to ZRH as my sister lives in suburban Zug. Whilst Ive flown Swiss First Class, iMHO, Lufthansa is much better. Yes, I have to connect in FRA but boy talk about lounges. LH has a dedicated Terminal just for First Class passengers. I always allow time to refresh/shower and the private BMW/Mercedes/Audi transfer to my onward connecting flight is an added bonus. . Once again, beautiful video.

Ive been watching your videos for the last couple weeks now (I find them very relaxing, and after everything Ive seen so far, I have to admit the lounge area at the San Francisco airport was quite embarrassing. It was absolutely pitiful, almost insulting, compared to all other lounges in Europe and Asia. Huge difference Thanks for sharing your videos From picture quality to editing to music selection, everything is amazing

I used to travel with Swissair 25 years ago (to Japan and to Canada) it was a really high class company, twice upgraded to business class Unfortunately today, Swiss has become a very pale copy of Swissair, poor food, very narrow economy class (as I am 6'2 I need more space or my legs cannot fit the space. For my last trip to Canada by KLM in 2014, I suffered from a very serious phlebitis, which has ruined my entire stay

I'm just not feeling it for Swiss' Business class hard product. I mean, basically 2-2-2 really. and 16 IFE is not very competitive. The overall design esthetic is a bit too sterile for me as well but I know others will appreciate the stark minimalism. Not allowing non-Hon or premium mileage members to book the throne seats is whack as well. I would much prefer flying LH itself or their other sister airline, Austrian.

I got a chuckle out of that throne seat discription I rarely read the inflight magazines. unless I'm REALLY bored. Like yourself, I really do prefer the 777, although I've only flown one on a few occasions domestically i. e. 777-200. It was also nice to see that they offer several types of single-malt scotch, at least with Swiss on this flight. I don't see that very often. Another great job with your video production.

Great flight report. I've flown twice with LX on transatlantic flights (A330) in business and I found the product mediocre. The food wasn't strong on both quality and quantity. Seat was dated, cabin felt crowded space wise and the Crew were robotic and not very engaged. Boarding was also complete chaos. Many other airlines with stronger business class product offering.

Inflight magazines is the most interesting and informative reading with a pleasant smell of gloss This is much better for smart passengers than blunt staring at the screen. I flew Swiss economy class from Singapore to Zurich (A-340) in 2016 and this company seemed strange to me. There were very tall and noisy flight attendants and too many buns and pastries.
