I don't know about you guys but for me, every time when I was at the plane that I always have this problem which is I never reach the up-storge case, not just because I'm not tall enough is because of that thing just so anti-human design, I mean the opener is too wide and inside is to narrow and you have used all the strength to move your half-kilo suitcase into the storage room and after you do your stuff that already tons people waiting for you in the line. what if the airplane company design an automatically lowing storge room itself so people could be loading their stuff easily and they can automatically close by itself, do you guys agree if it's a good idea?

I recently visited Hilo to help my son and his family get settled there. Hawaiian accepted their dog when United refused. When I was on my way home I had a stopover in Honolulu and was struggling with my bag. A very nice young lady grabbed my carry on, saying give me that and follow me. She said You're priority. She carried my stuff, put it up in the bin, and showed me to my seat. I'm 66 yo not exactly handicapped and did not ask for priority boarding but it was a very welcome assist. I will always use Hawaiian Airlines when visiting my son and his family in Hilo.

I have fear of flying also. Turbulence is my worst enemy. I was coming to the US over the Atlantic, and flying over Greenland my SAS flight encountered significant turb. The captain came on and explained why it happens at that point in the weather with warm air and cool air masses meeting so close to the Arctic Circle. Also, it happened while I flew to Bangkok as we flew over Moscow. through the Urals, and down to the right of Kabul Afghanistan approaching Delhi. Still got to work on feeling at ease during those moments. Not easy Mate, I'll readily admit.

Love the growl of those RR Trent engines I am an airline retiree (Northwest. now absorbed into Delta) and this brings back wonderful memories of our travels all over the world. 747 travel worldwide on NWA in First Class was spectacular. 99% of the time we were in First Class during these travels. which puts a completely different perspective on airline travel. We have free passage as retiree's. and being retired with an early eighties seniority date puts us at the top of the list on those middle of the week flights with open first class seats to everywhere.

Another impressive trip report. Thank you. Watching them is like going to a spa and getting pampered. The Hawaiian Islands are one of my favorite vacation destinations. I have to say though, not very impressed by HA's product for first class. That pillow and blanket we're pittiful looking. The menu, very limited. The seats. Didn't look impressive. That lounge. Pathetic. But you managed to make it all very special. I look forward to checking out your video on hotels there. Please keep up the great work.

My Dad was a pilot in the United States Air Force so I grew up around flying and different types of aircraft. He flew B-52's. Because we lived on air bases, we also saw lots of air shows. which I absolutely loved. My Dad taught me a lot about flying which prompted me to take flying lessons myself many years later. I love to fly and am never fearful. It is completely exhilarating to me. I fly internationally all the time - mainly to Africa. My #1 favorite aircraft is the 747

Of course flying first class is nice. Duh. I flew American to San Diego then, had to get my luggage & transfer to Hawaiian both going there & coming back. We flew coach & it wasn't all that great. The flight attendants weren't all that friendly. I love the islands, love the people. I won't make special effort to fly Hawaiian Air, again. If you have the money to fly first class, everything is nice. If you don't, Hawaiian Air is the same as any other airlines.

This was oddly one of the most serene and peaceful videos Ive ever watched And I know what you mean about flying over water, and flying in general, I think what always gets me when flying to Hawaii is it really is a distance to anything we can land on if something goes wrong. I worry about a dual engine outage because thats almost certainly a water landing. Either way, all I can do is sit back and let the professionals handle it.

ok forgive me. who is Pualani? I love that you are giving a small insight to the history behind the names and the planes. very nice touch. departure views of the island are really nice. i like the Grey & Blue colors. very nice and fresh. the main meal itself looked a little small. but maybe because it's a lunch meal. seats look rather comfortable as well. lovely video. pack me in your bag. lol
