Join me on this full tour of the phenomenal breakfast buffet at Soneva Fushi, one of my favorite resorts in the #Maldives. Get complimentary VIP perks at Soneva Fushi: TrangleC: Impressive for sure, but I'm not sure whether it is truly wise. Scientific studies have shown that an over-abundance of choice is detrimental in most cases, at least if the goal is to make people happy. When you give people that much choice, you will diminish the positive effects because no matter what the guest chooses, he will be left with the lingering feeling that it might have been better to chose something else, which reduces the enjoyment he has in his choice, no matter what he chooses. You know what I mean? At least that is what the scientists say. So less is often more. From a culinary and from a service perspective it is better to be given the choice between a select number of coordinated and designed elements/ingredients, combinations that are tested and known to work well and have a certain unique character, than to just offer the guest everything edible on the face of the planet and make it their job to figure out what they could eat and what goes well together. Also, who is going to stand in front of this dazzling array of spices and sauces and figure out exactly what combination they want exactly? At this point breakfast becomes a science project and I'm not sure that is a good thing. Sure, everybody is free to ignore that and just grab the first thing that strikes their fancy, but then you're left with the problem of doubt whether you made the right choice again.

Good breakfast, but most amazing hotel breakfast in the world, absolutely no. It seems like a village that people are in bustle, not a private island You should have a Butler & a la carte breakfast at this place, not a buffet. It is better to that on the islands don't leave food in the open air (Because of Heat & Insects and various creatures). Also passengers that should be barefoot, meaning that there is no difference between rich and native people (it's true that main reason they collecting shoes before entering the island is: they are obsessed about the sands of Maldives, because sands going out from the country, but for a country that is coming under water soon, this is indulgence ). Also, these videos should not be personal advertisements (00: 15)

The planet died watching this. Imagine how much fuel and plastic packaging is used to fly all this stuff in, every single day, from all parts of the globe. It feels people and most importantly nature would be much better off just sticking to local cuisine. Local sea life is literally dying. Traditional Maldivian breakfasts are great, who needs all this? But I guess rich people love destroying our planet for everyone else Do they really need this to feel good? And its especially shocking as Soneva Fushi is pretending to be an eco friendly resort.

Whatever it costs to sojourn there, it most surely does look worth it. You cannot say that of many locales at all. My last abroad were Moscow & St Petersburg, an utterly mindblowing place to see today, Russia is a stunning place to visit, as I'm Scottish I travelled St Andrew's route on a very limited trek in 2013. I'll go back to see other places with a view to have an audience with the Patriarch & perhaps discuss any writings of the patron saint we Scots share with Russia. That's a plan at least.

I guess presenting one video per location is better than having parts of the resort. In this way you can have the best idea of that specific location (beach, rooms, public area, meals, spa. When I choose a place to go, I want to know many aspects of that place, not just the breakfast, or beach, or rooms. I have been in places having amazing rooms but the meals made me sick or in places with unlimited exceptional meals but the rooms were small and smelly.

Ever Wonder? .How do these luxury island resorts get and keep their food fresh? Large yacht makes food deliveries to the islands every day? Float Planes deliver fresh foods? Plane flies over the islands and drops parachutes? Resorts must have Humongous refrigerators and freezers and solar power or electrical generators? Or. never mind - just eat and enjoy? Looks delish

Is that the most insane breakfast offer in the world? I watch your videos from various ultra luxe hotels regularly but nobody else comes even close. I wonder how expensive it is for the hotel to maintain this standard, how many items are stored and offered the next day, how much of it is fresh every day etc. Lol that's the budget manager speaking in me: D

You really do have the best travel vids online and unlike too many others (Sam Chui, Nonstop Dan, Josh Cahill. just to name a few, you're not narcissistic and feel that the entire world wants to watch YOU rather than the actual travel components. So, thank you for that and I wish other vloggers would follow your professional and tactful lead.

With such a plentiful breakfast, you can no longer think about lunch and dinner This unique video conveys not only the atmosphere of hospitality and a wide range of food, but also the aroma of dishes in the kitchen. It causes admiration and a feeling of sincere gratitude to the Author of the film and the staff of this hotel

I watch it at almost 11 pm and now I feel hungry. hahaha. by the way, finally got a glimpse of yourself there. haha. don't worry I won't tell anyone. :vand also a great idea to split the video into several parts as watching a long video could be exhausting sometime.
